You know, for someone of my HTML skills, I could REALLY make this into a nice website. I mean, just look at A Tricky Situation, my current pride and joy. There? Doesn't the layout look awesome? Well, granted, the text-only version is pretty bland, what what did you expect, it's a text-only version. At least I bothered to color the backgrounds and text and stuff. Here, I'm not even bothering with those minor details. (As you can see, since I have yet to highlight a single thing, this is just my inane ramblings, and therefore you are allowed to ignore them and skip to the lyrics.) I mean, I type something down, and that's it. This is the lowest of the low in HTML-ing. Who's going to want to come back to something as ugly and un-updated as this? Now, granted, in the beginning stages, I tried (a very small amount), but now I don't even care. The only reason I'm even bothering with this update is 'cause people keep asking me if I'll post new clips. I will, but in exchange I'll have to delete old clips. (I already have a few ideas as to which I should...) Anyway, that's enough of my rambling (you actually read this far!?), we both know you just want the lyrics and reviews and whatnot.
 
 

Mezase Pokémon Master (Aim to Be a Pokémon Master): Did you know that there's a '98 remix, which acts as the opening theme for the movie, Mewtwo no Gyakushuu (Mewtwo Strikes Back!)? It sounds pretty cool, I like it a lot. Is it better than the original version? Well, I think so, but my opinion is worth virtually nil.

Hyaku Gojuu Ichi (151): I attempted to translate this, but once I got to the second or third verse, I gave up. It's the first ending theme, TV-length version. Virtually no change from the original version.

Nyaasu no Uta (Nyasu's Song): This is the second ending theme. I really like this one, personally; Inuyama-san does a surprisingly good job of singing it, considering what Nyasu's voice sounds like...

Pokémon Ieru ka na? (Can You Say Pokémon?): This is the Japanese version of the PokéRAP. Pikachuu Kairyuu Yadoran Pigeon... After buying a CD with this song on it, I learned that ieru means can you say. My mistake ^^; It's sung by an American person, surprisingly. But that does explain why the English in the song is spoken so well...

Rocket-dan yo Eien ni (Rocket Gang, Forever): Being a huge fan of the Rocket Gang (wai! Kojirou!! *GLOMP*), of course this would be here. (Mochiron, having borrowed the Rocket Gang CD from a friend of mine helped too...) I also translated it, although how well I did is questionable. However, unlike a number of other songs, this one was actually pretty fun to translate. ^_^ I recently editted the translation, so it's a little better now.

Oyasumi Boku no Pikachuu (Good-night, My Pikachu): Despite the music being soothing and sweet, the lyrics themselves are...quite depressing 0_o Yes, that means I translated it. Rather badly, but I translated it. This doesn't mean I can translate anything you send my way, though.

Lucky Lucky: A peppy, kawaii song sung by Kojirou-daaringu. You know, Miki Shin'ichirou does some REALLY varying voice ranges for Kojirou. In one scene, he could have this really deep, impressive voice, and in another, his voice is at least two or three octaves higher... not that I'm complaining, he still sounds awesome. But it's just so wildly different from his job as Allen in Escaflowne. I luvvit ^_______^

Pokémon Master he no Michi! (The Path to a Pokémon Master!): A bonus track from the Rocket Gang CD. It's sung to the main theme of Pokémon. Pretty cool, actually; now whenever I hear the main theme, I hear the lyrics to this ^^; This also features a rather sloppy translation.

Umi (Ocean): Another bonus track on the Rocket Gang CD, this one's sung to the surfing theme. I'm particularly fond of this song, but then, I always did like the surfing music ^_^

Pocket ni Fantasy (Fantasy in the Pocket): TV-length version third ending theme. What can I say? I like it, but most people don't seem to agree with me. (I'll admit that at first I was rather iffy on this song....)
 
 

Kaze to Issho ni (With the Wind): The beautiful ending theme to Mewtwo no Gyakushuu. I adore this song to the point where I'm trying to teach myself to play it on the piano (and it's not going very well ^^;;) I have it romanized and translated (WAI! <3), so no more linking to other sites for this piece of art ^___^ You can get the song here (it's on the Best Collection CD), I totally recommend downloading it!!

Suteki na Collection (A Wonderful Collection): A neat, Indian-sounding track that not only have I never heard before I bought this CD, I never heard of it before either. There's an mp3 of it available at With the Wind; it takes some getting used to, but I like it ^_^

Natsuyasumi Fan Club (Summer Vacation Fan Club): The opening theme to Pikachuu no Natsu-yasumi. A cute song, but I like Pikapika Massaichuu better, personally.

Pikapika Massaichuu (Midst the Sparkle): Don't ask. I was pretty surprised to learn that Massai Chuu was actually Massaichuu, a pun within the title. That's the translation I got when looking up "massai". As for the song itself, I'm very fond of it; it's very cute, but not disgustingly so ^_^
UPDATE! Double pun--it turns out that pikapika means glitter or sparkle ^_^

Pool (Juuichisai no Natsu) [Pool [The Summer When I Was Eleven Years Old)]: Upbeat; nice guitar riff. An okay song, but it doesn't stand out particularly.

Atarashii Tomodachi (A New Friend): If you've seen Pikachuu no Natsuyasumi (the original, NOT the dub; the soundtrack for the movie was completely revamped, for the worse in my opinion), you might recognize the tune as the same as the BGM from the very end, when Satoshi-tachi call Pikachu-tachi back from the Pokémon Park, and Pikachu jumps into Satoshi's arms.
 
 

These are the lyrics from the CD for the first part of the Pikachuu Project '99, "Pikachuu Tankentai". More new Pokémon are featured (such as Elekid [one that looks like an electric plug] and Hoo-hoo [another which would be best described as a one-footed owl]), including old favorites from the first Pikachu special, like Maril. The CD itself, yes, is called Soratobu Pokémon Kids. I borrowed it from a friend of mine, to which I extend my sincere thanks ^_^ Here's the CD review I did for it.

Tankentai wo Tsukurou! (Let's Make an Exploration Party!): Ummm...what can I say? All my comments are in the CD review.... so I'll just make random comments.

Soratobu Pokémon Kids (Flying Pokémon Kids): You know, I'd much rather be listening to my mp3's than to this CD. Although, yes, this CD is a good CD. A very nice, cute CD!

Taiju to Nakama-tachi (The Big Tree and All Its Friends): It's just a thing about me. I prefer mp3's to CD's (although I WILL buy CD's if I have the money and I'm given the chance to).

Mama no Daiji na Pokémon (Mama's Important Pokémon): I mean, I spend almost all my time on the computer, but the CD tracks sound so much better. So both are good.
