Head of the underground resistance movement, AVALANCHE.  He's fighting the mega-conglomerate, Shinra, Inc. which has monopolized Mako energy, building special reactors to suck it out of the planet. Barret depends on brute strength and his "Gun-arm" to see him through. His wife died in an accident several years ago, and he now lives with his daughter Marlene.

Every characters in FF7 have their own limit break, At this moment I will give you Barret's limit breaks. Barret have four level limit break each of them devided in two limit breaks except for the level fourth limit breaks.

I Heavy Shot Barett fires one focused pulse of energy at a single enemy for moderate domage
I Mind Blow Reduce an ennemy's MP level to 0, not effective against bosses
II Grenade Bomb Huge grenade is fired, hits all ennemies for a moderate amount of damage
II Hammer Blow Instant death to a single enemy, not effective against bosses
III Satellite Beam Lazers blast fall from the sky causing moderate to heavy damage on all targets
III Ungermax Eighteen rounds are fired randomly at ennemies, each causes light damage
IV Catastrophe Huge beam of energy that targets all enemies and hits scores a total of 20 hits, at random, each causes light damage

Note: You can get the Catastrophe After Meteor has shown up and you have saved N. Corel from the runaway train (I'm not sure you can still get it if you fail) go back to North Corel and talk to the woman in the middle house on the ledge on the west end of town.
