Dalamar Nightson

The Dark Elf
Dalamar is a dark elf from Silvenesti who was exiled because he strove to learn more magic than was allowed. Dragged to the skirts of the elven forest, he made his way then to the Tower of High Sorcery at Wayreth where he took his Test of High Sorcery and passed. His Test dealt with his lingering feelings for his elven homeland. He joined the Order of the Black Robes and progressed very quickly.
Dalamar volunteered when the Conclave needed a wizard to spy on Raistlin during his attempts to enter the Abyss to become a god. Dalamar viewed an apprenticeship under Raistlin as the greatest training he could ever attain. Raistlin was the greatest wizard ever known of on Krynn. Dalamar remained with Raistlin even after the Master of Past and Present made it clear that he knew that the dark elf was spying on him and didn't care.
Dalamar had a brief relationship with Dragon Highlord and half-sister to Raistlin, Kitiara Uth Matar. He was also responsible for her death after she tried to kill him. After Raistlin's sacrifice to save the world (and himself), Dalamar became Master of the Black Robes. At the present, Dalamar occasionally has dealings with Mordenkainen and Elminster; and he has also met the mysterious Piper!

Magical Items: Bracers of defense AC 2, a dagger +3, a staff +2, and boots of levitation.

Combat/Tactics: Dalamar focuses his magic to kill or incapacitate the most threatening creatures first, then he toys with and slowly slays everything else that is stands in his chosen path.

Appearance: Handsome with long hair and a muscular frame, Dalamar is almost as charismatic as his mentor, Raistlin! He wears black robes adorned with all sorts of beads, braids of hair or leather and various feathers.
hidden under his robes, Dalamar bears five finger holes caused by Raistlin, who used finger of death to kill him for spying on him. These wounds will never heal and are constantly bleeding. No magical healing can cure him of these terrible wounds!

Personality: Dalamar's first love is magic. He is an extremely knowledgeable and charming person, and has a winning personality. This only changes when others get in his way or try to stop him from attaining magic and further knowledge of magic. Then those beings become mere obstacles to be destroyed and stopped, permanently!
