Wizard Spells (4/2/1): As a wizard of Evereska, Falathar doesn�t learn and cannot use spells that are wholly of the school of necromancy. The spells he typically carries are: 1st-detect magic, hypnotism, magic missile, wall of fog, 2nd-blindness, levitate.

Weapons of Proficiency: Ahmaquissar bladesong (1 slot), long sword, short bow, single weapon style (x2).

Nonweapon Proficiencies: Armor optimization; artistic ability (song writing), blind fighting; Coup de Gras; dancing; etiquette; modern languages (Common & Halfling); musical instrument (flute); native language (Elven); reading/writing (Common & Espruar); riding airborne (giant eagle); riding land-based (horse); somatic concealment; spellcraft; tumbling.

As an elven Bladesinger of Evereska, Falathar gains the bonus proficiencies of artistic ability (song writing), blind fighting, dancing, etiquette, musical instrument (flute), reading/writing (Espruar), riding airborne (giant eagle), and spellcraft for free, as bonus proficiencies. Furthermore, coming from Evereska, he can only begin with the languages of Common and Elven, thus he has set aside some time in the near future to learn the additional languages of Gnomish and Orcish.

Equipment: Clothing, a backpack, and 100 feet of hemp rope, two skins of water, 1 weeks rations, 20 pieces of gold, and a cold-wrought iron longsword named �Sleeper,� for its ability to kill demons on the Prime and send them home, to �sleep� for 100 years before they can return. Plus he also has a riding horse and feed for it for a week, with the saddle and all other needed equipment for his mount.

Magical Items: Three tiny perfect and flawless magically indestructible amber gemstones that each bear the image of a hero burnt within their substance by Rillifane Rallathil himself; they each depict Lei'oro Ahmaquissar, Drae'zearious Evanero, and Keli Evanero, one hero per gemstone (each worth 1,000 gp, and much more to family members of their families), an everbright silver elven diadem that bears a space missing where the kiira of the wearer resides, the Tel�Kiira of Truth, Plate of the sharkskin, Spell Splitter, a skeleton key, and an iron and electrum ear ring of bodily health (+3 to Constitution).

Combat/Tactics: Falathar has yet to prove himself in any major conflict, however, his training and physical attributes make him a great addition to guild of bladesingers of Evereska. Although with his beginning mastery of the Ahmaquissar style of bladesong, he gains a +1 bonus to his initiative. Falathar, like all wizards of the High Valley, suffers a �2 saving throw penalty vs. necromancy spells, and refuses to use black necromancies and any Art that is wholly necromantic in nature. In addition, like all warriors of the Western Heartlands, he also gains a +1 bonus to disbelieve illusions (save vs. spell) and a +1 bonus to save vs. fear.

Allies/Companions: His Bladesinger guild and all the goodly elves of Evereska.

Foes/Enemies: All foes of the elven nations.

Appearance: Born on the eighth day of Uktar, Falathar is now at the age of 124 years of age. He weighs 111 pounds and stands 5 feet and 4 inches in height, with pale moonlight skin and bearing the blond hair and dazzling blue eyes mythical elves are known for throughout the Realms.

Personality: Ready to make every elven enemy taste the wrath of his blade, Falathar charges into battle and his quick-thinking mind leads his blade and spell to vanquish his enemies. Although he is headstrong, Falathar also knows when to run and when to stand his ground; having had to evade a horde of mold men in his hunt for a soul gem.

Experience For Next Level: 32,000/40,000.

Locales Frequented: Evereska, and now wherever the winds take him, having him see thus far the Dalelands and the Western Heartlands.

Motivations/Goals: To rid the world of the elven enemies, one stinking son-of-a-goat orc at a time if need be.

Campaign Uses: A burgeoning young warrior/wizard of the elven nations and stout elite one elf army, Falathar can be used in any situation that calls for a character who can excel beyond his mere statistics and level.

Unique Abilities:

  • Bladesinger: As a Bladesinger, Falathar can cast his spells with one hand. He suffers a +2 initiative penalty for casting in this way, however, while spellcasting one-handed he can defend himself with his sword gaining a +2 bonus to his AC.
