The Half-Faced
Once a very handsome wild elf, Galakaer�n was nearly killed as a child. Half of his face was ripped off by the red dragon Sytiuwik. Since the grove was defiled by the red dragons, Galakaer�n's surged through the ranks of Rillifane's druidic circles. He alone is responsible for the death of Sytiuwik's kin, Lisdig.

Upon gaining the ability to hibernate, he began to hibernate for as long as possible. When he would awaken, he would take the rest of that year to learn of the changes in the Realms. Then he would again enter into hibernation; thus he has survived until the inevitable release of his most hated enemy, the red dragon Sytiuwik.

Magical Items: Antlered helm (from The Complete Druid's Handbook), boots of elvenkind, breeches of blending (as robe), a collar of protection +4, 7 mistletoe darts, a ring of eelix II, a ring of plant control II, the Staff-Spear of the Sylvan Kings*, a tunic of displacement, a wand of fog control (63).

Appearance: Once a handsome elf, Galakaer�n was nearly killed as a child when half of his face was ripped off by the Dragon, Sytiuwik. After this foul deed occured he was raised by the druids of Firestorm Grove to forever be viligant should the dragon ever reawaken (he was turned to stone by their leader as he died). Since the time that the grove was defiled by the dragons, Galakaerun has stayed in hibernation, awaiting Sytiuwik's inevitable release. He only breifly venturing outside his sanctuary to eat, before again going to sleep.

Combat/Tactics: ?.

Personality: Galakaer�n is serious and very aggressive. He will not take any chances with his life, unless it is in combat against the dragon Sytiuwik. He is slow to trust and normally very silent. When one gets to truly know him, they find him very protective and loyal beyond all comparison.

Unique Abilities:

  • Bonus Spells: Galakaer�n gains 1 bonus spell per spell level from the plant sphere, as a druid of Rillifane. He also gains all the normal abilities for a druid of 16th-level.
