As the Chosen of Orckind, Kaerf possesses an ability akin to that of an elven true blade (yet not as powerful) with respect to his ability scores, which increase by 2d10 100's of a point every time he gains a level, thus upon attaining 2nd-level and every level since then, Kaerf has gained 2d10 in all abilities except for Comeliness (which increases point-for-point with Charisma); once the points in squared brackets reached 100, they are discarded and 1 point is added to the corresponding ability score. The bonus from his gauntlets is also included above.

Thief Abilities: PP 45%, OL 37%.

Weapons of Proficiency: Broad group blades (high mastery in the battle axe), broad group cleaving/crushing weapons, broad group pole weapons, double weapon style, single weapon style (x2), two-handed style.

Nonweapon Proficiencies: Close-quarter fighting; direction sense; dirty fighting; endurance; modern language (Common, Drow & Goblin); reading/writing (Common); spellcraft; survival (northlands); tactics; tracking; tumbling.

As the Chosen One and a warrior of the North, Kaerf receives the endurance and survival (northlands) proficiency for free.

High level abilities (Dungeon Master Option: High Level Campaigns): Adaptation, inner focus, and death blow.

Equipment: Standard adventuring gear, plus a heavy crossbow.

Magical Items: 2 glow stones (rocks w/continual light cast upon them), Elfeater, spider death armor, the girdle of the shield, a gold ring of djinni summoning (the djinn's stats at the bottom of Kaerf's entry), a ring of x-ray vision, a potion of extra-healing, gauntlets of dexterity, a crossbow bolt loaded with smoke powder (1d4+1, plus 12d2 powder damage), a potion of invulnerability, a net of entrapment.

Combat/Tactics: Kaerf runs into battle in a fury. He is indeed the best in the Realms with his weapon, even moreso than the dwarves that use the battle axe as one of their staple weapons! Kaerf is so good at wielding his double battle axe that if their are two enemies side by side (either at he flanks or near one another on the battlefield) he may kae a single attack striking both of them on each side of himself with a single attack.

Allies/Companions: All orcs of the Realms and their companions and followers.

Foes/Enemies: All enemies of orckind, especially full-blooded elves.

Appearance: Kaerf is 7' of lean muscle and the most impressive orc in his species. He carries a shield that displays the symbols of all the orc tribes from Icewind Dale down to Halruaa. Kaerf is a grey skinned giant weighing nearly 350 pounds. He has large green eyes of the palest hue, and is totally devoid of hair of any kind.

Personality: Kaerf is bold, loud and extremely experienced. No greater orc warrior was ever lived in the Realms and he can even take down most avatars of his people's deities! His fanatical approach to life has left him brave, yet stupid on some occasions, although never has he yet been apart of a losing battle.

Locales Frequented: The North in its massive entirety.

History: Kaerf is also known as "Elfkiller" by the tribes of the Realms, and is the "Chosen" of Orc-kind (one is born every 1,000 years). He was born to a drunken father who proceeded to beat him almost to death as a child, but when his innate strength showed true in his time of need, Kaerf stood back up from his beating and killed his father. Since then he has considered all orcs as kin to him, yet he has no qualms about killing them if they turn traitor or are good as display themselves as such. He has spoken to and received pledges from all the orc tribes, and is out to unite them all via their shamans. From there, he will assault the Realms and him and his people will rule. The Battle of the Bone Hordes has temporarily halted this as many orcs are being killed off by roaming undead and then rise to slay even more of their kind.

Motivations/Goals: To achieve greatness and unite all orcs in total domination of the Realms at large.

Campaign Uses: A ruthless killer of all but orckind, Kaerf can be found anywhere in the Realms where orcs are at war, especially the Savage North and its surrounding areas.
