Combat/Tactics: As a priest of war, Kylan usually enhances himself and his allies with spells and charges into battle. This large dwarf has a wide variety of dangerous weapons including an elven short bow.

Allies/Companions: Jordon "Piper" Silverblade; Tannus Blade, Kala Ravensclaw, Strikler, Maelstrom, Lionesse Blueleaf, and their twin daughters; Elrond Mandrake; Rolt; Talina "Phoenix" Faynevon; Necro Sa'naxith.

Foes/Enemies: All those who oppose him, his god, or his friends.

Appearance: Kylan is a tall (4' 5") mountain dwarf, with black hair and dark rust-red eyes. He wears heavy armor and wields a huge adamantine axe, which closely resembles a vampire bat. He also wears a strange helm with a large eye right in it's center.

Personality: Kylan lives for battle, he often travels the North in the hope that he will be ambushed, as it isn't hard to find a good war up in the Savage Frontier. He is loud, sometimes drunk, but even then he is never more alert. He commonly talks to his helm, much to the amusement of his travelling companions.

Locales Frequented: Kalorithian travels all across the Realms north of Calimshan, but never farther east than the Hordelands. He can usually be found in Waterdeep or Luskan (which is one big war just waiting to happen).

History: Kylan was born in the North, in the High Forest to two fugitive parents who were allowed to reside their in exchange for fine metal works by the wild elves. He soon took to a young human with too much elven blood for his own good and his scrawny cousin, a full blooded half-elf! They took to the road shortly after Tannus's 16th winter, travelling all across the North and south through the Heartlands.
Having being transported to Ravenloft shortly after starting their little battle and drunken spree, Kylan was forced to fight almost daily. Good for his god, but he couldn't rest, nor get back home. After fighting numerous powerful lords of the dark land, and becoming slightly corrupted himself, he and his remaining friends (two died, Maelstrom became a lord) escaped with the help of Maelstrom who had come into power of some sort. Although forced against his will, Kylan jumped through "Faerie-Magic" and was soon on the shores of the Sword Coast.
Since then Kylan has dwelt with Tannus and his new wife Lionesse, now with twin daughters, in the Cloakwood (just south of Baldur's Gate). He loves those little girls, especially the burly one (Keslana), who although tall...with a beard could make one fine dwarven lass. She's a drinker too...too bad the sleeper ain't (Lerian). Semi-retired after his trials in the Demi-Plane of Dread, Kylan feels it is now time for warriors everywhere to feel the blade of a REAL warrior/priest of War.

Motivation/Goals: Kylan is just out to live life to it's fullest and do some honorable killing, unless it can't be done...then some dishonorable killing is in order.

Campaign Uses: Kylan as a high level fighter/priest can provide healing for huge sums of money or be involved in wars and battles all across the Realms or Planes of existance.

Unique Abilities:

  • Immortality: From a quick dive in The Pool of the Star in Tethyr, Kylan has gained everlasting life! He need never sleep, and can go without food & water for up to seven days as if under the effects of a potion of vitality. He is also rendered immune to all normal diseases as if under the constant effects of an elixir of health and his Constitution has been permanently raised to 25, granting him regeneration of 1 hit point per turn and automatic Resurection and System Shock rolls.
