Lester Lesserspell

The Lesser~Mage, Minorspell, Colored Eyes
From the fabled Isle of Nimbral, Lester was evicted from his tower by his father, whom considered him to waste too much time and money on his "worthless" castings. Almost all of this spell creations are lesser versions of common spells or can be deemed useless compared to the magic that exists in Faerun today, at least by his father anyway.

Spells (6/5): Lester gains two bonus spells, from having two signature spells, in addition to his normal spells per day. Also he never uses anything but Illusion/Phantasm spells. His daily spells are as follows: 1st-Lester's blazing balls, Lester's busy bug, Lester's caste of chameleons, Lester's enigmatic ensign, Lester's legerdemain lancets, Lester's lightning lance; 2nd-Lester's magnificent mutoseo, Lester's rambling run, Lester's scathing strap, Lester's vicious vortex, Lester's zany zephyr.

Weapons of Proficiency: None allowed.

Nonweapon Proficiencies: ancient languages (Thorass); modern languages (Alzedo & Elven); reading/writing (Common); replacement variants; research; signature spell (Lester's blazing balls & Lester's scathing strap); spellcraft; tactics of magic; 4 open.

Equipment: Standard mage adventuring gear, plus his twin traveling spellbooks, and his silvery Nimbral robes (AC 7).

Magical Items: None.

Combat/Tactics: Spells are the lifeblood of Lester and they are all he typically uses!

Allies/Companions: None, yet.

Foes/Enemies: None that recognize him as a threat; mostly because he isn't one.

Appearance: Lester is not an imposing man; he stands 5' 10" and weighs a modest 176 pounds. He always wears a shimmering robe that looks to be made from moonlight. Furthermore, from his personal magics his moonlight robes also look to be chain mail too.
He is very silent, but can be open to friends once he has made them. Thus far no-one has tried or even considered the act of friendship to be beneficial to them, so Lester is close lipped and cautious around others.

Personality: Loud and commanding, Lester has thus far fast talked a wood giant into being a companion. Although Lester refers to him as his "personal giant"! He also has a personal dwarf to..."Did you know that they are made of earth, that is why they dig to get back home," which is just one of Lester's many pearls of wisdom...lol

Unique Abilities:

  • Bonus Spells: As a Nimbral mage, Lester functions as an illusionist, but without any opposition schools. Futhermore in addition to his bonus spell per spell level as an illusionist, he also gains bonus spells from a high intelligence. These spells are equal to those gained by a priest, but his intelligence is substituted for Wisdom of the wisdom Chart.
  • Colored Eyes: Lester's unique eyes grant him normal human vision and allow him to detect invisible, detect magic and see with infravision out to a range of 120'. The only drawback of this is a successful dispel magic will render him blind for 1 turn per level of the caster of the dispel.
