Facilites

There is no substitute for the enthusianism of staff and their insistence on the pursuit of excellence rather than a satisfacton with the mediocre. Our staff is not only exceptionally well qualified but also generates among the girls a genuine love of their subjects, but the general ambience of the Manor's location and the facilities are an important adjunct. Manor House has a fine library with a full-time librarian who is always ready to assist. There are four computer rooms in the school and 75 computers are available to the students. Every Senior Cycle student has the opportunity to become computer literate, which involves the use of e-mail, the modem and internet facilities. A computer syllabus is followed in 4th and 5th Year. The aim is to acquire a state ceertificate in Computer Studies from the Department of Education.
In general, the school has excellent facilities. In addition to general classrooms, there are four social and scientific rooms, four modern science laboratories, two art rooms, a library, a music room, religious room, a canteen accommodating 300 students st any one time, a history room, a geography room and a lecture Theatre. The lecture Theatre can accommodate a year group, it is used for assemblies and when there are visiting speakers.
