NPC Characters
Barkeeper [friendly]
The friendly helper at Garriot�s Diner. He always has some hints for newbies in Neocron and sometimes you can even pick a quest. The barkeepers at ViaRosso and Plaza are much more polite than the ones at PepperPark or in the Outzone.
Guest [friendly]
Hangs out at Chez Louis (ViaRosso) and Garriot's Diner. Get him a drink and he�ll start talking. The quota of reasonable communication with the frequenter depends on how boozed he/she is.
Strip Dancer [friendly]
A very friendly NPC to meet in Neocron. Doesn�t talk much though.
Citizen [friendly]
When properly addressed, most citizens of Neocron are friendly and willing to chat. They do have good tips for newbies and know how the entire city is organized.
Security Officer [neutral]
These guys are hired by big companies to secure people, buildings or entire areas. These mostly Tank class guys, can be hired by the player to protect his goods (or life).
Bouncer [neutral]
Just like the Security Officer, but a little less official (and usually cheaper to hire).
CopBot [neutral]
They do not represent the law, but ARE the law. Six feet of armored justice, their very presence commands absolute respect. Still, they play it fair. When not talked to, they entirely ignore you. It�s not really known, if they are robots or if they wear a protective full body gear that makes them look like robots, but the name �CopBot� implies that they are artificial.
SwatBot [neutral]
These Bots pass the streets of Neocron once in a blue moon. Instead of a white/grey gear (CopBot uniform), these Bots wear black gears, which makes them even more impressive. They appear when big trouble shakes the city. The SwatBots are secret police and anti terror force in one. When you see one looking directly at you, then this might most likely be the last thing you�ll ever see in your life.
Crahn Sect Member [neutral]
The Crahn Sect has an abbey in the wastelands. They take care for the victims of the great plague. Members of the Crahn Sect are rarely seen downtown. They are quiet, but helpful persons. Though there are some rumors that the sect has a dark secret.
City Guerilla Fighter [neutral]
Representative of the City Guerilla gang. The City Guerilla Fighter looks like a normal citizen and is hard to identify for non-City Guerilla members.
Mafia Member [neutral]
Mafia members wear high quality outfits (almost always black) and it�s very hard to differentiate them from normal businessman who wear black aswell.
Tech Freak [neutral]
The Tech Freaks live in the wastelands in a secret underworld lab. Rumor says that they are creating a secret antigravity technology. CityAdmin was very nervous about this rumor, but failed to locate the lab.
Gang member [neutral]
Representative of one of the four NPC driven gangs in Neocron.
Business Man [neutral]
Wearing the finest outfit, he�s a representative of one of the four leading industrial cartels in Neocron.
