Bailey's Book House

My students at Mareeba really loved this program and since I've started my new job as an Education Advisor, I've met pleanty of other children (and teachers) who say the same. I've used it to introduce many concepts of language, including listening skills, writing and phonics. One little bit of trivia that sticks in my mind as one of those "great moments of joy in life" was when I first unpacked the software in front of my Mareeba students. The uncanny resemblence of Bailey to one of our students amazed us all. The very first time we used the program, this particular student screamed, "It's Me! It's Me!" Ever since, when we tell the students we are going to "Bailey's Bookhouse", this particular student reminds us "You mean MY house!"

Just another bit of trivia - useful this time - since we bought the package there have been two new activities added to the CD. At my new job they have a copy and I'm going to get my hands on it to have a look at the new activities soon. Those of you who have purchased the title in the last year probably have them already, so how about saving me some effort and getting your name on a web page by sending in your ideas and reviews?
