Kodachi's Evangelion Page!

The year is 2015, 15 years after the Second Impact, an explosion similar to that which allegedly killed off the dinosaurs. Half of all the humans were wiped out, and Antarctica was completely vaporized (melted, actually. Then the water level rose 80 meters.) Now mysterious beings called the 'Angels' are attacking Tokyo-3, their motives unknown. None of the weapons utilized by the UN even come CLOSE to harming it, except the N2 Mine which barely scratches it. Humanity's only hope for survival is the EVANGELION, a humanoid fighting machine, the only weapon capable of generating an AT (Absolute Terror) Field, and destroying the Angels. The only problem? It needs a pilot.

Ikari Shinji is summoned to Tokyo-3 by his estranged father, Supreme Commander of NERV, a secret UN organization in charge of the EVA Project. When Shinji arrives, during the attack of the Third Angel, Sachiel, (sa-KEE-il) he discovers that his father wants HIM to destroy the Angel. Shinji after discovering the alternative to piloting (seriously injured Rei would have to do it if he didn't), Shinji decides to pilot the Eva.
