After we had rappelled around
the outside of the post-office,
our toes clinging
to a three-inch ledge
of ornamental concrete,
we would go around the corner
to Broadway
where the rich doctors lived.
There was a tall building.
Four stories.
We always got caught by the janitor
pushing the buttons marked
"one" and "four"
over and over.
But we'd come back the next day
and get caught again.
More fun than a barrel of cocaine.
Any day!
