Lots of snow
Here is what we woke up to this morning. Don't let the temperature fool you. Brrrr.
With gusting cold North winds it feels soooo cold. Fingertips and toes froze while shoveling.
Here we have a bit of a drift and 38 inches of snow
Here is what it is in the places with no drifts. Gee only 31 inches.
Poor Phil worked from 6 AM to 10:45 non stop to snow blow and dig.
This is really deep, it's slow going, but Making progress!!

There is a Buick station wagon in there somewhere
Oh, I think I spy the Subaru
Now that there is a snow blown path around them, we can dig them out.
The bigger Poodles seem to be making their own path.
The little ones just walk on top of it.
Lucy "Are you sure there's 31 inches under here?"
Rosebud "Yes you fool, Why did you make me come out here ?
My feet are freezing and I cant get the snowballs off."
Lucy "It doesn't bother me any. This is fun.
If you're going to be such a wimp,
go back inside where it's warm and dry."

anxiously waiting to go for a run.
Sorry girls, it will be a while.
First have to get all the shoveling done.
I say, it's a good thing you cleared it out, it's over my head.
The town plow buried it. We finally found it.
& dug it out. Now we can get our mail !!
Snow is packed between the screen and window from stiff night winds.
Branches reflecting from the swaying maple trees.
A Christmas light shines brightly from inside.
