Spell-like Abilities: As a High Forest wizard, Kalorithian has the innate ability of animal friendship 3/day, plus protection from fire (as the priest spell) 1/day.

Spells (5/5/4/3/2 as an enchanter, 3/3/2 as a bard; including bonus spells): As a wizard from the High Forest, Kalorithian cannot and will not use any spell that is solely from the school of necromancy. He has personal access to over 150 spells and his common adventuring spells are: 1st-animal sanctuary, blackthorns, bloom, cantrip, charm person, magic missile, sleep, Storm's frozen moment, 2nd-bind, deeppockets, detect thought, insatiable thirst, magic missile reflection, scare, vocalize, web, 3rd-dispel magic, fly, hold person, suggestion, sunbolt, wraithform, 4th-charm monster, minor globe of invulnerability, polymorph other, 5th-cone of cold, discord. Thieving Abilities: PP 60, DN 60, CW 75, RL 60; Bardic lore: 45%.

Weapons of Proficiency: Bladesong (3 slots), staff, knife, long bow, single weapon style (x2), striking falcon style, two weapon style.

As a warrior/wizard/bard of the High Forest, Kalorithian gains the following bonus proficiencies: musical instrument, singing, survival (woodlands) and weather sense.

Equipment: Standard elven adventuring gear, plus his Silvertree family signet ring, which is made from a white dragon claw with an emerald setting (worth 12,000 gp).

Magical Items: A potion of undead control (shadows), a potion of polymorph self, a girdle of many pouches, a wand of conjuration (76), dust of disappearance, a 20 page book of infinite spells, a ring of jumping, a knife +2, an elven long bow +1, 10 flight arrows +2, a gold ring of minor spell turning, a ring of protection +1, a cloak of displacement that also functions as a robe of scintillating colors, a white robe of the archmagi, and a staff or power (20).

Combat/Tactics: Depending on his mood, Kalorithian will either unleash a powerful spell to slay his enemies quickly, or toy with his opponents until he tires of them, where upon he often polymorphs them into small, harmless forest creatures.

Kalorithian receives a +1 to surprise rolls and 25% magic resistance from his link with his elven cat familiar. Furthermore, his contingency casts Galather's gnostic chain on the first person to cast offensive magic higher than 4th-level at him, and he is also protected by the spells blood lightning and Nature's dispersion (which absorbs 18 damage that would otherwise harm him).

In melee he usually uses Bladesong in combination with his leaf-bladed knife. If in deep trouble, Kalorithian can call upon his psionic talents to cover his escape or maximize his attacks. As such, he has 156 PSPs and the wild powers of contact, mindlink and superior invisibility.

Allies/Companions: His elven cat familiar, Reymmanthaer; his father, King Valkor Silvertree; all good elves and rangers from the North to the Elven Court; his half-brother, Jordon "Piper" Silverblade; the Harpers; Tannus Blade (reluctantly); Lionesse Blueleaf and her children; Alustriel Silverhand; the Mistmaster; the Silver Crowns.

Foes/Enemies: All evil residents of the High Forest and those who would attack or threaten his family, or get in his way.

Appearance: Kalorithian is a tall (5' 11") and very handsome wild elf with braided, coppery-blonde hair and pale hazel eyes. He wears copper embroidered white robes, earthy emerald breeches and soft leather boots made from the hide of a green dragon. Kalorithian augments his fine clothing with five rings of various precious substances on his left hand, an electrum necklace, and gold bracelets etched with the words "Magic Above All" written in crude, yet intelligently flowing Espruar. He normally carries an elven bow made of phandar wood, an elven knife with a leaf-bladed design, and a breathtakingly beautiful chime oak staff, decorated with the feathers of an eagle.

Personality: Kalorithian is very proud and since becoming an enchanter and a bard, has become very gallant and vain. A lover of women, he is forever trying to impress them. Also being a connoisseur of fine wines and a lover of art, he especially likes to gaze at tapestries, paintings, and of course beautiful women, which he considers the finest works of art.

Like his father, Kalorithian has a somewhat feral temper, and like his father he can keep his emotions hidden with his strength of will and acting skills. When hiding his emotions, only his family knows how he truly feels.

Locales Frequented: Kalorithian travels all across the Realms south of Icewind Dale and west of Thay, although he does sometimes go to visit friends in Evermeet and the Outer Planes.

Motivations/Goals: Kalorithian, along with his father, has been working to increase the presence of elves in the High Forest and to bring the clans of wild elves into one large, unified nation.

Campaign Uses: Kalorithian is a prince of the new unified nations of the wild elf clans, and thus can be used as any slightly barbaric royalty. Otherwise he is the official green elf liaison to the outside world and to an ambassador of the wild elves to all others within the High Forest.

Unique Abilities/Items:

  • Magical Sight: As a gift from Queen Alustriel Silverhand for services to Silverymoon in the past, Kalorithian can perceive magical auras as the wizard sight and detect invisibility spells at will. While using this form of sight, his eyes glow pale blue.
