After word from Mirt, the Company of the Songblade traveled, gained access and cleared the whole of a temple of Ilmater that was taken over my "priests" of a false god, whom they called the Eternal. A gold elven member of the Blessed and another human fighter joined the company. Upon dealing with the human guards of the temple, they had to destroy two stone golems and a mimic that was disguised as the altar in the church proper.
The elves having discovered secret doors, soon lead the group to a treasure chamber. In the chamber was the dreaded Glabrezu, Kh'teesh, which appeared to be confined to a summoning circle. But this was a ruse and he nearly killed the whole party after blanketing the room in darkness. Only the late attacks of Xeirk the Blessed helped to slay the creature. The treasure was well earned in this dire situation. Staying the night in the treasure room, they once again set out for the answers to who and what purpose this "new" god had with the temple.
Again taking to secret passages within the temple, the company soon discovered all the captured clerics of Ilmater, which they quickly freed. Then through more hidden and concealed passages the group uncovered a torturing Ogre and some of his henchmen. They soon dispatched the beasts and moved on to an inner room that contained the Hezrou, Babel! Wiquaestreal attacked with a vengeance only known to the warriors of the Elven Court, who have had their land tainted with the presence of the foul tanar'ri. He deftly cut the creatures arm off at the elbow and simultaneously slashed open it's gut! Thus in it's severely injured condition the others of the group quickly cut the evil being down.
Then continuing on through the despoiled temple, the company fought and destroyed a huge flesh golem! Slaying the creature without much injury, they left and arrived back at Mirt's house. There they invested in a small side street in Waterdeep and are preparing to build themselves an inn, a cobbler's shop, and a tower-like construction.
