Company of the Songblade

Misfits United in Myth and Legend
This strange group of characters first met and formed within the mighty coastal city of Waterdeep. It consists entirely of those beings interested in the martial arts (warfare) and the Art (magic). Lead among their concerns is the aquisition of funds (loot) to further the elven way of life (the elves), uphold the righteous way of life (Drexor), and attain fame and a world-wide business (Erik).
Since the original meeting of the elf, Drexor and the Cobbler, the company has been joined by an elven myth, Twilight. Later another elf, the first of the mysterious Blessed, and a human male who wears strange eastern clothing ("wears a dress" according to Erik the Cobbler) joined in the looting. The Blessed elf never gained friends among the group, however, as his personality was too brash (Gold elves tend to have that effect on others). Since then, a sturdy little dwarven fighter/cleric of Talos has entered the group to break up the Realms and gain loot in the process.

  • THE CODE OF LOOT:
  • Anything that you can grab from a stranger or enemy is Loot.
  • Anything that you can grab without being caught is considered Good Loot!
  • A fallen beings equipment and items become Loot.
  • Anything left from a fight that wasn't already yours is now Loot.
  • All carriable Loot must be taken, not taking it would not be right.
  • Loot is taken and distributed amongst friends and family.
  • Pick of the Loot is chosen by the game "Parchment, Rock, Daggers" (the game of "paper, rock, scissors" in modern times).
  • Fate has given me the great task of Looting to gain Wealth.
  • Cobbling (insert own job here) is a expensive and righteous lifestyle choice; therefore looting to keep up this righteous life is not considered bad nor evil.
    Thus it shall be written that the way to good Lootery can be found amongst the Noble of the Realms.
    As such, I Erik the Cobbler must then by the Noblest of the Realms, for the righteous way of Lootery flows gracefully through my veins.
