Chapter VI

In the pursuit of evermore loot and world renown, the company entered The Red Antler tavern to find a man named Kak. There, Erik complained to the management and started a brawl, shortly after Wiquaestreal got kicked out for being an elf and the rowdy bouncers accosted him. The bartender told them "we don't serve their kind in here" (meaning the elf) and to "Keep their pet outside" (to Aras). Whereupon Wiquaestreal told him that "They must not allow the superior races in their shanty", as he left. He then waited outside as the others searched for information and Erik antagonized the barmaids!
This was quickly changed into a large brawl when one of the bartender's guards called Erik a "Shoe-Shine Boy"! The others soon joined into the fray, when Drexor's drinks were spilled and Aras was attacked.
Twilight, during all of this was quickly making money by betting 20 gold pieces that the Cobbler would win. At this point the party was beaten up pretty badly; then Wiquaestreal came through a window and used magic missile to take out an attacker that was about to hit Aras, who was being held from behind from another brawler!
Thus the party progressed to beat and be beaten in a bar-destroying brawl the likes rarely seen in Waterdeep. Erik actually punched one of the guards so hard that his Intelligence dropped 8 points, from a 14 to a 6! Erik then punched another guard from behind; to which the guard said, "That is dirty fighting". So then Erik declared, "No! This is dirty fighting", and kicked him in the groin! The guard became enraged at these dirty blows and broke a table over the angry cobbler. This all occurred while another guard broke the collar bone of Drexor, while a second assailant kicked him while he was on the ground writhing in pain! This quickly ended with Drexor back up kicking his attackers saying, "How do you like it!" And the comely cobbler was knocked out cold, after he beat his table-friend into oblivion.
This Wiquaestreal also stole the red antlers that were the symbol of the tavern. Which was also set on fire by a mischievous Twilight; but only after he received his winnings for his bets. He made further moneys, by raising another 5 gold for the clumsy elf. As Wiquaestreal had used his ring of jumping twice and both resulted in a nasty tumble due to lack of balance. Although he later took care of himself and drank potions of healing, while reviving the unconscious Erik with one at the same time!
They won, but then faced the angry mob that lost money on the brawl. Aras quickly led them down to the basement through secret doors found by him and other party members. They raided the treasure from the place then resurfaced under the cover of smoke, after Twilight started the bar on fire!
Leaving, the group split up, with Drexor and Erik searching bars for Kak, while Aras attempted to do the same in the shadier parts of the city. Wiquaestreal set out for the Plinth to converse with the priests of the Seldarine, while Drexor asked where he could get his arm regenerated. Wiquaestreal is currently trying to speak with Queen Amlaruil Moonflower, to get fitted and start the elven craftsmen on making him an artificial hand to replace his lost appendage.
