Deep in the forest SparrowHawk '99
Out of the way
There's a place I know
where the faeries play.
The beauty there
is to behold
As from a story
I once was told.
There are no humans
that have tread that ground
For there is no decay
to be found.
The trees grow thick
within this place
And the flowers grow
all about like lace.
It is tended by
the tiny Fae
For there they live
both night and day.
Freedom grows
within this place
And love abounds
with godly grace.
They flit about
from tree to tree
Far from our human
eyes to see.
The flowers grow
so thick and bright
For the faeries paint them
with a gentle touch of sunlight.I happened on this place
by chance
And the beauty I did see
held me in an enchanting trance.
I saw the faeries
dance by night
Under the flooding
of the pale moonlight.
Now this simple message
I pass along to the wise
Remember you are being watched
by tiny faery eyes!
