I shall lean more towards Wicca in this Briefing, Here there are so many things that I could say, The Craft is wide, as to the number of paths there are to follow. I do believe in Jesus Christ, this I will not deny.
This to me is very sad.
If we can not forgive, than we ourselves shall not be forgiven.
For myself, I find it better at present,
As to all Pagans, I have this to say; This was not written to harm either
those who are Christian There have been some
people online that have questioned me So I have become a mystery to many I know ~SparrowHawk~
but this is not to say in any way
that any other form of the Craft is wrong,
as I do not believe that it is, and for myself,
I am not to be a judge of any form of religion.
but none can amount to what
some of the best aurthors on Wicca have already said,
and it is with this, that I suggest
that if you are interested in
learning the Craft in any way,
you do need to read some of their writings.
I am but a small pea in the 'great pod' of
this old world religion,
being only a 1st degree inititate,
I have not gone the distance that many have gone within
Magick itself.
So above all I do suggest
that you should get your hands on a copy of,
"To Ride a Silver
Broomstick", written by; Silver RavenWolf.
To me, this is a great start, as she speaks directly to you,
and you will know as to whether this calling is upon you.
Much like the Christian world with it's great number of denominations.
I do belief that the Craft is a far better example of how we should
respect those within different Walks.
Unlike the Christian world,
where each church denomination chooses to have their followers belief
that they alone have the true answers to the universe,
within the variety of the Craft,
you will find great respect amoung each different group.
As to the Craft and their views about the Christian world,
they also respect those that have chosen that Path for their life.
They do not seek to cause any trouble with the Christian world in any way.
On the otherhand,
this does not hold true in the Christian world towards
those who have chosen a certain Path within the Craft
As a result,
you will have many Pagans defending their cause, and rightly so.
It is for each of us to choose which
Path we go,
and if it be not that of the Christian world,
that too,
is for each and everyone of us to decide
within ourselves.
No man has the right to tell another that he has chosen the wrong Path,
that alone is
a total act of superiority over others.
I have found that in the Pagan circles,
you will not hear this sort of
thing,
they do not seek to cram their Faith down anyone's throat.
They do believe that if you should
come to Walk a Pagan Path,
it is something that was always there within that person,
something that for
reasons of this world,
was hidden due to a fear of what others might say about them.
For myself, I do
know that it is a calling,
something that if it is within you, you are going to be drawn in that direction,
reguardless of how you may struggle to shut it out.
I am a witness to tell you that I have tried to shut it
out,
but I am always drawn back to it.
I have walked in the Christian world for many years,
being 'born
again',
as this phrase is so loosely used today.
I though, had too many questions,
ones that were never
answered by anyone in the Christian world.
At the same time, I must also tell you,
that, if there be true Evil,
and I know that there is,
it is growing within the Christian churches today at a rapid rate.
I do believe that any given church
would not recognize the Lord that they do worship,
if He were to walk through their church doors at this time.
I do not believe that He would be welcome
if He were to come as we picture Him,
in His sandals, robe, long hair and a beard.
I think that He might be someone that would be asked to leave the assembly,
an assembly that has gathered together to worship Him,
reguardless of the church denomination.
He would simply not fit the dress code!
So it is that I, believe in Christ, but not a church.
For it was Christ, that
did not consider, that man-made traditions should be the center point of worship.
It was He that said we
should Love each other, above all,
Love being the greatest Law.
That we are to walk in Love, and if we in
fact do this,
we cannot harm any other person, animal, plant, etc.
I do not understand what the problem is
in understanding this very simply statement.
Love is planted within each of us,
we need only to let it
grow, and than we can walk in Love.
Christ also made it clear, that there is no one man better than
another man,
no one is more favored in any way at all, we are therefore, all equal.
It is Man that has
created different classes of peoples,
it is Man that becomes puffed up with pride thinking he better and
far wiser than another.
It is a foolish man who thinks himself to be very wise.
This wisdom that men get
puffed up with, is of this world,
and there is so very much more than only what is of this world.
It is Man
that has chosen to put their God into a box,
telling others that God will do this, but He can't do that!
We
are but finite creatures,
a breath of air if you will, to what true infinity holds.
We are very small indeed,
each of us, as a grain of sand upon the beach.
Christ also did many miracles,
feeding thousands with a
few fish and a few loaves of bread is but one,
there were many, many more.
And to this He said, that we
too could do the same,
if we only but believe.
A miracle to me is as magick,
one the same as the other,
as
I see Him healing the sick,
raising the dead and even cursing a fig tree.
Christ spoke much of forgiveness,
this being an important ingredient to ever really coming into true Wisdom.
And in this, I do believe that we must also
remember that we must forgive ourselves.
It is not so important that we go about and ask for another's
forgiveness,
although it is a good idea in repairing what harm we may have done to whoever.
What is more important,
is that we ourselves acknowledge what we have done in harms way,
in
acknowledging this,
we are confessing to the God that we do worship,
that we have done wrong, and it is
by this acknowledgement that we are forgiven.
Also I want to say,
Christ said, "Take up your cross and
follow Me"...
quite point blank....
He did not say, "Take up Joe's cross and follow Me"
or
"Take up
My cross and follow Me"...
no no no....
"Take up your cross and follow Me"!
In otherwords, tend to your
own life,
you have no business tending to someone else's life
for your own life is enough for you to
handle!
Let each man, make his own way to salvation.
Let each man follow that which is in him.
No one
has the right to cram any certain religion down another's throat.
Let your own lamp glow, tend to the oil
of your own lamp!
For while you are out tending to another man's oil,
your lamp may very well go out,
and then where will you be.
Your life is to be a total witness,
so walk in truth, live your own life,
keeping
your own home in order,
being kind to all,
respect this earth and all there is within it,
it is not here for any
of us to trash up,
and don't practice judging others, for by whose standards might you be judging?
Remember, those are the standards that you yourself will be judged by.
It is best not to judge.
Self-righteousness is after all the king pin to our judgement upon others.
that I do not wear a "label".
I know in my heart what I do
believe, and I do not try to push it on others,
as I have found that I am not on either side,
that of Pagan or
Christian.
I do believe in Christ, but He is not a church.
It is my faith in Him alone, that truly does make
me free.
Free from all the rules of man's tradition...on either side.
I do believe that the Christian world as it
is today, needs to take a closer look at the Pagan world.
Christians do practice many Pagan based things
within the confines of their different churches.
I see a blindness in the Christian world to this fact.
Many
of the Holidays, that are so blessed in the Christian world
were founded upon the Pagan
Religions.
So to the Christians, I say;
before you point your finger at the next person
you think is in the Craft,
REMOVE your blinders, study, learn some of what they do believe.
You will find that they do not seek to hurt anyone,
they do not worship the devil,
and they do not sacrifice as you might think them to.
They are very peaceful people, as a whole,
wanting nothing more than to be left alone to practice in that which they believe.
They believe in harmony of all the elements,
earth, air, fire and water, and of course, spirit.
They are respecters of all of nature.
I myself, have found many wonderful people within the
Pagan Religions,
mostly Wiccans,
as my natural sister is a Wiccan High Priestess.
I have learned much from her,
things that the Christian world seemed to pass over,
but things that needed to be learned in
order to find harmony here in my own life.
I have learned to develope that which is in me,
which is my love
of art,
into more than a simple 'love for art', but an actual 'creating of art',
something that I could not do
before because of a fear of letting out those things that I feel are so beautiful to me.
I have my sister to
thank for opening my eyes,
allowing me to see who I really am,
where I really belong,
and what I really can
do.
Thank you, my dear Lady Rose Triton! My very dear Sister in blood and in the Craft.

try to understand a little deeper where Christians are involved.
Try not to beat up on a person if he/she does believe in Christ,
let that be their decision completely.
If it is Christ that they do worship,
remember that you also do walk in "In Perfect Love and Perfect Trust",
so let it be that you do practice this, and not just speak of this.
As Pagans, you have seen farther than any other
faith what is here for us to use for our good.
The storehouse of knowledge that is within the Pagan faith is by far,
the most unharmed by this world that I have seen.
The "Old Ways" do remain the same, unstained by time.
Have patience with others walking a bumpy Christian walk,
some of them do belong to you, they are simply not aware of this fact
as of yet.
There has been far too much poison being spilled within the Christian churches,
but time has a way with all things,
time needs patience,
and with patience the blossoming of many Pagan faiths will be much fuller.
nor those who are of Pagan Faith.
This is coming directly from my heart
to all that may have traveled to
this Page.
It is how I, personally feel
and the stand that I do take concerning both sides of this issue.
concerning my stand on this one issue
as to whether I be Pagan or Christian.
To all of them
that have questioned me
I have remained firm in that
I will wear no "label"
nor do I ever want to.
My friends here at home, are
Pagan and
I do not mix well with the Christians.
I belong to a Wiccan Coven, "Circle of Magick" and
all of my business ventures
are dealing with the tools of the Craft.
I do attend regular rituals, celebrate all Pagan Holidays, and do regular spellwork at home.
Along with all of this, I will not deny that I do believe in Jesus Christ.
but a mystery is what
I wish to be.

With honor do I approach the gods,
that I might
dare to embrace the truth
of responsibility
that comes from doing one's true will.
With respect do I approach the gods,
that I might remain silent
and thus protect
the sacred mysteries.
