At the entrance to Fox
Studios Australia |
Here's the Simpsons
place in Fox Studios. Inside, they'll
show you how they make character motion in the
Simpsons. There're this person, wired all over. Any
movement this person makes is reflected in the character
in the cartoon. |
To my left is my
sister, and we're in the Simpson's house! |
A scene just beside
the 'Simpsons Down Under' |

Look! Edward Scissor
hands! Earlier, he was scaring
people and 'sniping' other people's hair off. |
So are we going to see
any cool babes in there? |
Nope, but there're
some scenes from
the movie Babe for display. |
We came across these 3
lovely girls that roam about the
area and then stop to sing infront of an audience or a
group of people. Their singing is good. Then after thier
short song, they'll run towards the audience for their
hands and say,"Thank you! Thank you!" |
Here's a museum of
things dedicated to their respective
movies |
Hey, Arnold's not
here. Get back into
the jungle! |
Hey, pick on someone
your own size. There, behind you,
you...alien. |
More stuff from other
Fox movies. |
Are these for real? |

In the sound stage,
you'll go into a very dark room. All
over you are speakers. then you'll hear sounds like birds
chirping from one corner of the room and glass breaking
from another. The prupose of this whole thing, is to show
you how important 3D audio is to a movie and how it can
fool a listener's ears. |

Fox Studios opened in Sydney in 1999. Its grand
opening included famous Hollywood faces like Nicole Kidman. It's a theme
park based on Fox Studios' movies and primetime shows. Fox Studios Australia
was Fox's answer to Universal Studios in America and Warner Bros. Australia
in Gold Coast. However, its entertainment was nowhere close to its rivals.
It only has the 007 ride. Although exciting, its not as thrilling as
Universal Studios' Back to the Future and Jurassic Park: the Ride and Batman:
the Ride in Warner Bros. Australia in Gold Coast, Australia. Fox Studios
Australia is also much smaller than its counterparts. We finished exploring
the whole park in only a few hours compared to almost the whole day we spent
at Universal Studios and Warner Bros. Australia.
However, my visit to Fox Studios Australia is still memorable one. Read on
and you'll see.
