Here's what you'll see
once you've made an entrance |
 |
|
You can see the city
from here, on a slope where the zoo
is located |
 |
|
A Komodo Dragon |

 |
|
Arghh...yar...oh...grrrrr... |
 |
|
No, that's not a
rock. That's an ape and it's sleeping. He
get up and do some tricks for us! |

Taronga Zoo is the country's leading zoological
garden. It has the largest collection of animals in the country. The zoo is
on a slope. That's right. The entrance is at the zoo's highest point. You
explore the zoo down the slope. The park is opposite the Sydney Harbour so
down along the slope, you can see the city. After my trip to Garden Island,
I took a cruise to Tarongo Zoo for it is also near for it is near a wharf. I
don't know what else I can say here, except that it is like Singapore
Zoological Garden - animals in containments and peacocks are left free to
roam about.
