Fuji is the hugest member of the Juppon Gatana. He is somewhere in the neighborhood of 80 feet tall, and very very strong.

As Kaoru, Yahiko and the Oniwah Banshu are all happy that they won against the Juppon Gatana and just about to celebrate they hear a thunderous crash. Looking up they see the Oniwa Banshu restaurant slice in half with 2 more Juppon Gatana standing above them - Saizuchi and Fuji's (Saizuchi was standing in Fuji's hand!)

Things are looking pretty grim for the already badly beaten up crew and Fuji goes to take a masive swing at Yahiko who lay helpless on the ground. As the sword comes crashing down Kaoru screams ... when all of the dust clears their luck dramatically changes with the arrival of Kenshin's shisho - Hiko Seijuro, who blocked Fuji's giant sword from crushing Yahiko!

With the air of confidence that only Seijuro could posess he immediately begins a mental attack on Fuji, appealing to the warrior within. Saizuchi attempts to direct Fuji but Seijuro's constant appeal to his warrior side eventually brings out the true Fuji that is looking for someone to treat him as a fighter and not a huge monster.

Fuji takes some major swings but Seijuro's Hitten Mitsurugi Ryu proves to be just too much (even for a giant) and Seijuro strikes him down without killing him (maybe Kenshin's morals finally started to rub off on his master ^_-).

After the Kyoto incident Fuji goes to work for the government doing things that they would normally need huge machines to do, like lifting heavy objects.
