New Tejano Artist, Maria Soledad, Releases New Single

Houston's Maria Soledad Martinez has her brand new single, “No Te Puedo Olvidar,” being released to Tejano radio stations on March 11, 2002 and will soon be launching her Texas tour with her band. The song, “No Te Puedo Olvidar,” is a fresh sounding, dance oriented cumbia which fits the Tejano, Regional Mexican and Contemporary Pop radio formats. It's perfect for radio and the dance floors of your favorite night club!

Tejano music fans will also have an opportunity to meet and see Maria Soledad perform live with her band at the Tejano Music Awards Fan Fare scheduled in San Antonio on April 12, 2002. Music fans will also hear songs from her upcoming debut album, which will showcase her versatility as an exciting new female vocalist in the music industry.

She will film her first music video for her new song, this month, in Houston with director, Michael Suniga, of Midnight Productions. The music video, when completed, will be serviced to Texas and National television music programs.

Maria Soledad has also been in the recording studio and is finishing her debut album, which is scheduled for release early this Spring. She is working on the last three songs to complete her project. Not only does she sing, but she also wrote or co-wrote songs for the album and is also co-producer.

Maria Soledad definitely delivers as the Tejano music industry's new “breakout” artist with her new single, “No Te Puedo Olvidar.” Once you hear her song and you hear her voice, we are sure that you will definitely not forget this exciting and multi-talented female artist from Houston, Texas!
