WOW!
I just knew this was going to go into a Second Page!
So
Welcome All!!
I do hope you enjoy the reas of my Page about Cats!
Let me thank you beforehand for stopping in!

~On the Personal Side~

This is so very exciting to me
that I must share this with all those Cat Lovers out there!

As you had to have seen on the First Page,
I had lost a beautiful cat!

After a period of 4 years
you begin to feel that there is no hope in finding a lost pet.

Not True!

There is always hope
no matter what, there is always hope!

I know this is true
but
a month ago that was a very HARD truth for me to hold on to.
I had pretty much decided that Ms. Kitti was gone for good!
Trying to collect myself so that I might be able to move on,
leaving what was in the past behind,
so as the pain I was feeling would somehow go away easier...
I decided it was time for me to work a Spell for me....
not for another, as I am most often doing
but for me only.
It was a positive Spell,
one that would more or less cleanse me from all unwanted sorrow,
help me to reconnect myself with all things that were yet connected to me
and
disconnect myself from all that I was dragging around like extra baggage,
that was already gone but I was not willing to let go of.

About 2 weeks later after the Spell was completed,
I received a phone call from my sister
she was very excited and eager
to tell me what she had seen only a few hours earlier.
She was at my parents house that afternoon
and when leaving
as she was pulling out into the road,
she saw this cat
sitting at the end of a driveway only 4 houses away from my parents!!

Well, needless to say I was not excited
as I had been on far too many wild goose chases
since my parents lost my cat
but I thanked her and we hung up.

The next day I was expecting company from out of town and I was very busy
but
in the back of my mind, all I could think of was,
"What if that was my cat that my sister had seen?"
So when my company arrived,
I told them about all of this and
they wanted to go see if it was Ms. Kitti!

Well we went
and we saw!

There she was, Ms. Kitti!

She had not seen me in 4 years,
and she remembered me like she had wondered out only yesterday!
She was 4 doors down from my parents house,
the people had found her in their yard 4 years ago
thinking that surely someone would come looking for her!
Well, I did, and to their house
at least 3 different times during those 4 years
but never before
did they tell me that they had found her and had her.
I was always told the same thing,
"If we see her we will bring her to your parents house."
This time it was altogether different,
they looked at the pictures of her
and told me that she had been there for 4 years
than they went and got her out of their backyard for me.
It was her alright!
They gave her to me without my asking
telling me they were happy that she was at last going home
with her owner!

So, I have Ms. Kitti back
and it is like she never lost me!

Cats are very very smart
this is proof enough for me!
Yes, we lost 4 years together
and she is a little older
and her living outside was hard on her beautiful coat of fur
that was always well groomed
but she is my cat
and that was all that mattered!

If you have lost a cat
please don't give up hope of ever finding it again.

Keep in mind one thing
where you lost the cat
is very likely where you will find it again
or very close by.
They are smart enough to stay close to the place where they were lost
and I was not aware of this until now.
Remember, it was 4 years Ms. Kitti was lost,
and the whole time she was lost
she never roamed from that area she was lost in!

So never give up hope!
The lost cat seems to never give up hope...
all the more reason to never give up!

A miracle is right around the corner, even closer than you think!

~My Precious Magickal Miracle~

"She sits composedly sentinel, with paws tucked under her, a good part of her days at
present by some ridiculous little hole, the possible entry of a mouse."

Henry David Thoreau

~How Pussy Willows Got Their Name~
Many springtimes ago, according to an old Polish legend,
tiny kittens had been chasing butterflies at the river's edge and fell in.
The mother cat, helpless to save them, started crying.
The willows at the river's edge swept their long graceful branches into the water
the kittens gripped on tightly to the branches and were rescued.

Each springtime since, goes the legend, willow branches
sprout tiny fur-like buds where the tiny kittens once clung.

And shall we call this 'kneading dough"?
I am not really sure just why they do this
other than probably showing their contentment.
Whatever the reason,
I know they usually will have that little motor running
full blast as they are doing it!
So it must mean something good, don't you think?

~Cat Commandments~
Thou shalt not jump onto the keyboard when thy human is on the modem.
Thou shalt not pull the phone cord out of the back of the modem.
Thou shalt not unroll all of the toilet paper off the roll.
Thou shalt not sit in front of the television or monitor as thou are transparent.
Thou shalt not lie down with thy butt in thy human's face.
Fast as thou are, thou cannot run through closed doors.
Thou shalt not reset thy human's alarm clock by walking on it.
Thou shalt not climb on the garbage can with the hinged lid,as thou wilt fall in and trap thyself.
Thou shalt not jump onto the toilet seat just as thy human is sitting down.
Thou shalt not jump onto thy sleeping human's bladder at 4a.m.
Thou shalt realize that the house is not a prison from which to escape at any opportunity.
Thou shalt not trip thy humans even if they are walking too slow.
Thou shalt not push open the bathroom door when there are guests in thy house.
Thou shalt remember that thou are a carnivore and that houseplants are not meat.
Thou shalt show remorse when being scolded.

One of my very good online friend's wife sent this to me...and
it was so funny
because it fits every cat!
So,I had to share it with everyone.
So this came to me from Pat,
and I want to thank her now for sharing this with me.

Thank you so much Pat.
You and Silver are rare and wonderful people...
I love you both.

"No amount of time
can erase the memory of a good cat,
and no amount of masking tape
can ever totally remove his fur from your couch."

~Leo Dworken~

~An Old Russian Prayer~

Hear our prayer, Lord, for all animals,
May they be well-fed and well-trained and happy;
Protect them from hunger and fear and suffering;
And, we pray, protect specially, dear Lord,
The little cat who is the companion of our home,
Keep her safe as she goes abroad,
And bring her back to comfort us.

~Anonymous~

"Hey now...you might call this relaxing!!"

"With the qualities of cleanliness, discretion, affection, dignity,
and courage that cats have,
how many of us,
I ask you,
would be capable of being cats?"

~Fernand Mery~

Now you do know
that cats are very very brave!

They seem to be in such control!
Brave and fearless
as they stalk their prey...?

Ah-Haa!!
Until they are confronted by their prey!Yeah!

"There is something about the presence of a cat
... that takes the bite out of being alone."

~Louis J. Camuti, D.V.M.~

"Like a graceful vase,
a cat,
even when motionless,
seems to flow."

~ George F. Will~

All cats are special to me.
They are a very personal friend to you,
loving you more than we humans really do understand.

I know for myself
I could go on and on talking about them.

My only wish is that all cats can have a home.

And so it is that I will now close this Page.
I do hope you enjoyed all these beautiful cats that you have seen here.
