After meeting with them and realizing that everything fine, the three have a good time on their way back to Glenoak. To help his parents, Matt's car restrictions are temporarily withdrawn for the 'Meals on Wheels' round. The church again organizes a Carnival with a pumpkin carving contest. Simon as the defending champion is eager to win the top spot again. Ruthie can't decide on a costume.
