023 [2.01-97] Don't Take My Love Away / Spaete Hochzeit
On their 19th wedding anniversary Eric and Annie renew their wedding
vows again - much to the dismay of the children who can't find anything
positive about it, especially about having the ceremony on the last
weekend of the summer. Lucy still isn't over the breakup with Jimmy,
Mary is in a constant bad mood. Annie prepares the attic for Simon to
move up there and have a room of his own. This is something Ruthie on
the other hand doesn't like since she will be alone in her room then.
Nora Chambers asks Eric for help: she wants to meet the man who killed
her husband three years ago but no one seems to be able to help her in
persuading the killer to agree to a meeting. Heather is about to leave
Glenoak for her school.

024 [2.02-97] See You in September / Der erste Schultag
With the kids' time over, the parents' time is just about to begin:
school starts again and Eric and Annie look forward to a nice, quiet
day at home. This changes with Sgt. Michaels call for help when a
high school boy threatens to jump off a building. Lucy's day at school
starts bad when she discovers that Ashley has a locker next to her.
To make things worse she can't get her locker open. For the others
it's no fun day either when all of them get caught: Lucy and Mary with
Aspirin (no drugs rule), Matt with a beeper (his dad's, accidentally),
Simon with a knife (his mom put into the lunch box) and Ruthie wearing
her cap backwards (gang signs, not allowed).

along, so she won't 'bother' her mom. Annie smells abuse and when Eric
drives by at Laurie's to pick up stuff (she's spending the night at
Lucy's) he sees that it runs in the family. Matt wrote a love letter
to Heather, and Simon and Ruthie take a glance at it. As kind of a
payback for snooping around, Matt writes a fake letter to 'Mrs. Matt
Camden'. Unfortunately, Eric catches the letter first a thinks that he
and Heather are indeed married and the uncertainty (Matt is out for some
hours) drives him, Annie and Heather's mom crazy. Matt's 'I Love You'
also poses the question for Mary when Wilson will say those three
words to her.

Eric's church is chosen - as first in a row - to have a service telecast
on TV and Eric's totally excited about it. Penning a great sermon is
another thing when writer's block strikes. With Eric asking for time
for writing, Annie takes care of more than the usual stuff and things
get slightly out of control. Simon dreams about becoming a magician and
wants Ruthie to be his assistant. Ruthie declines, she wants to practice
magic herself - although mostly because Simon does it and not because
it's a dream of hers. Lucy's in with the laid-back crowd and promptly
places her American History mid-term at 'D'. Recovering Mary learns
that a basketball-playing student has transferred and - after watching
her play - she decides to quit the team. The Colonel finds out that help

can't figure out what. Coach Koper's disliking attitude toward him
