| LEON S. KENNEDY |
As Leon prepares to join his new unit, he attempts to contact the Captain who hired him. But having no luck reaching him, he continues unfazed to his new job.
While driving to the Raccoon City Police Department, Leon notices something in the road, and gets out of his truck to go see what it is. As he gets closer to it, he notices that's it's the body of a person, a women. Torn and eaten, he wonders what could have done such a thing.
While this is happening, a zombie bites a guy who's driving a oil truck, who had gone to the gas station to fill his truck up. He then pushes a zombie through a window, but it gets back up. The guy driving the truck then gets back inside it, exclaiming "That guy's a maniac, why'd he bite me?".
Back where Leon is examining the body, he hears something creeping up behind him, as he looks behind his back, he sees some zombies start shuffling towards him. Not knowing what they are, he takes out his gun and starts shooting at them. But they keep coming.
He then looks down to see the "dead" body come to life. It grabs onto his leg and tries to bite him. But he aims down and shoots her through the brain, killing it.
As the other zombies start getting closer and closer, Leon starts shooting and backing away. Now starting to think that these things are in no way human, he shoots a clean shot at one of the zombies. But the zombie keeps coming.
Leon ends up backs his way into an alley, and as he turns, he see's a young women, who yells "Wait, don't shoot!". Leon yells for her to "Get down!", as he shoots the zombie behind her in the head. It falls to the ground, dead. He then tells the girl, lending her a hand to help her up, "We can't stay here, lets head to the Police Station. It'll be a lot safer."
So they run down the alley and get in to a police car that's parked onto the street and drive off towards the Police Station. They introduce each other, and Claire tells Leon that she's looking for her brother. Leon then tells her to look in the glove box. She finds a gun inside and he tells her to take it with her.
But they don't notice the truck that's coming behind them (The one with the guy who got bit by the zombie earlier).
As a zombie pops up in the back seat, and tries to bite Leon, the car swirls around, out of control, and slams into a street light. They then look to see the truck behind them heading straight at them.
So they both jump out of the car, as the truck crashes into it and then tips over exploding.
Looking through the fire at each other afterwards. Leon tells Claire to head to the Police Station, and that he'll meet her there.
Throughout the game of Resident Evil 2, Leon meets many characters. About half way through his game, you'll meet Ada Wong. He quickly starts to care for Ada, as they both struggle to stay alive.
While playing as Leon, you'll meet Ada, Annette, Ben, William (As a monster), Sherry, as well as a few other people. And of course you'll meet Claire at certain places throughout his two scenerios.
Another thing to note is that Leons's game is both longer and harder than Claire's. Leon has to collect more items, as well as defeat more bosses than Claire does.
Leon's normal suit is a blue RPD uniform. When you first start out, Leon carries with him a hand gun and some ammo, but's that's all.
Leon has brown hair, and while pretty tough, seems to have a hard time getting people to listen to him. Leon also carries two rockie-talkies, one of which he will give to Claire later on during the game, so they can stay in toach with each other.
Leon is a nice person, but is quite gullible.
Throughout the game, Leon will collect lots of different weapons and items, such as a shotgun, magnum, and flame thrower.
