ITEMS AND WEAPONS LIST
Here's a complete list of all of the Items and Weapons you can collect in Resident Evil 2. Along with a description of that item or weapon. Listed in alphabetical order, for your convenience.

Note that I don't count maps as items (and they definately aren't weapons), so to see the maps that you collect in Resident Evil 2, go to the 'Map List' section.




Acid Rounds - Grenade Acid rounds. For the M79 Grenade Launcher.


Base Vaccine - Vaccine Cartridge processed with the activator.


Bishop Plug - A plug of some sort in the shape of a bishop.


Blue Herb - Special herbs that grow in the Raccoon City Region.


Blue Keycard - A plastic card. It reads: Hall electronic lock.


Blue Stone (piece) - Half of an animal is etched on the stone fragment.


Bomb & Det. (Detonator) - I can clear the wreckage away with this.


Bow Gun - A powerful bow gun primarily used to hunt large game.


C. Hand Gun - H & K VP70 Burst. VP70 with a stock holster. Capable of firing three round auto bursts.


C. Magnum - D.E.50.A.E 10 inch. 10 inch barrel is put on to D.E.50.A.E. It can fire DOT 50 A.E. rounds more powerfully.


C. (Control) Panel Key - A control panel key. The letter "U" is etched.


C. Shotgun - Remington MI100. MI100 full size semi-automatic. The longer barrel results in more concentrated blasts.


Cabin Key - I can access the cabin in the rear with this.


Club Key - It's in the shape of a club.


Crank - The end is square-shaped


Detonator - It's a charge detonator. It's useless by itself.


Diamond Key - It's in the shape of a diamond.


Eagle Medal - An eagle is etched.


Eagle Stone - A six-inch stone with a eagle etched.


Film - I can't tell what's on the film until I develop it.


F. (First) Aid Spray - This will completely restore my vitality.


Flame Rounds - Grenade flame rounds. For the M79 Grenade Launcher.


Flamethrowner - Chemical fuel flame-thrower made by Umbrella Inc. The fuel is fed from a small cartridge.


Fuse Case - A case for industrial fuses. It's been designed for superconductor fuses.


G. Cogwell - It's gold plated. It looks like a large clock cog.


Green Herb - Special herbs that grow in the Raccoon City region.


Grenade Launcher - M79 Grenade Launcher. Various rounds can be used. The cut stock causes a greater recoil. Made in the USA.


Grenade Rounds - Grenade bearing rounds. Used for the M79 Grenade Launcher.


G-Virus - A purple object in a gel-like state.


Hand Gun - Browning HP. Manufactured by F.N., Belgium. It uses 9mm parabellum rounds.


H. (Hand) Gun Bullets - 9x19 parabellum rounds that can be used for either the H & K VP70 or Browning HP.


H. (Hand) Gun Parts - They look like parts for a Hand Gun.


Heart Key - It's in the shape of a heart.


Ink Ribbon - I can type in my progress with this.


Jaguar Stone - A six-inch stone with a jaguar etched.


Joint N. Plug - High power plug. Used to activate large generators.


Joint S. Plug - High power plug. Used to activate large generators.


King Plug - A plug of some sort in the shape of a king.


Knife - A combat knife. It could come in handy. . .


Knight Plug - A plug of some sort in the shape of a knight.


Lab Card Key - It looks like a card key for lab access.


Lighter - An oil lighter.


Lockpick - A lockpick. I can unlock the simple locks with this.


Magnum - Desert Eagle 50 A.E. A high caliber magnum pistal. It uses powerful DOT 50 A. E. rounds. By IMI, Israel.


M. (Magnum) Bullets - DOT50A.E. rounds. Magnum rounds for the Desert Eagle.


Magnum Parts - They look like parts for a magnum.


Main Fuse - I can restore the power to the lab with this.


Manhole Opener - A tool to open the manhole lid.


Master Key - It looks very important.


Mixed Herbs - There are two types of mixed herbs. Here's a explanation of both below:

Two Green Piles - A mixture of two green herbs.

Green and Red pile - A mixture of 1 green and 1 red herb.

Green and Blue - A mixture of 1 green and 1 blue herb.

Green Lump - A mixture of three green herbs.

Brown Lump - A mixture of 1 green herb, 1 red herb, and 1 blue herb

Brown Lump (2) -  A Mixture of 2 green herbs and 1 blue herb.


MO Disk - The label says "For Cargo Room Verification".


P. (Pump) Room Key - It looks unique. Now I can access the Power Room.

Plastic Bomb - Enough C-4 to clear the wall, but it needs a detonator.


Platform Key - I have to hurry and get that train operational!


(Precint Key) - A key to the precint. Once you check it, it'll either be the spade, diamond, heart, or club key.


Red Card Key - A plastic card. It reads: Weapon Storage.


Red Herb - Special herbs that grow in the Raccoon City region.


R. (Rocket) Launcher - A rocket launcher. One shot from this should kill any enemy.


Rook Plug - A plug of some sort in the shape of a rook.


Serpent Stone - A six-inch stone with a snake etched on the side.


Shotgun - Remington MI100-P. It uses 12 gauge rounds. Smaller than a standard MI100, as its barrel is cut.


Shotgun Parts - They look like parts for a shotgun.


Shotgun Shells - Shotgun shells. For the Remington M1100 series.


Small Key - It looks like the key to a desk.


Spade Key - It's in the shape of a spade.


Spark Shot - High voltage gun to repel experimental animals. It uses Spark Shot rounds and has a range of 10 feet.


S. (Sub) Machine Gun - MAC11. Manufactured by Military Armament CORP. It uses DOT 380 rounds.


Unicorn Medal - Something is engraved on the back. "Please guide me to the beautiful maiden who turned into stone as she waited for me."


Vaccine - I can save Sherry with this.


Valve Handle - I can open/close the valves with this.


Virgin Heart - A blood-red jewel about the size of a fist.


W. (Weapon) Box Key - An odd-shaped key. Umbrella's logo is on the key ring.


Wolf Medal - A wolf is etched.
