 Character Stats
These are the standard base stats for all the races. The actual base stats will vary depending on the player stat template you choose. The stat templates page has been updated. Descriptions of all stats can be found by following the stats link which has also been updated (for size and weight). Our hope is that releasing these stats will give you something more palpable with which to plan your future in the Dawn world.

Character Statistics

Strength (Str): Determines the ability for a character to do physical damage. Also, a stronger character will be able to more successfully wield larger weapons and wear heavier armor. (A higher strength would also indicate a greater amount of health) (physical)

Coordination (Crd): Determines how likely a player is to be successful in any physical operation, be it swinging a sword or using a bow and arrow. (This also might give a PC with a greater coordination combined with a high agility, the ability to evade enemy attacks) (physical)

Agility (Agi): Determines a characters ability to avoid physical attacks. (Agility can be beneficial for running, jumping and endurance) (physical)

Intelligence (Int): Determines the general power of one's magic. ( A high intelligence could give your character a greater amount of mana) (nonphysical)

Concentration (Cnc): Determines the general effectiveness of one's magic.  (By the sounds of this attribute, if you get hit in combat while casting a spell you might lose concentration- therefore losing your spell) (non-physical)

Contravention (Cnt): Determines one's innate ability to resist magic. (Non-physical)
(This will be a handy attribute to definitely boost, only the gods know what's out there to harm you with some nasty spells)

Physical Resilience (Prs): Determines the rate at which you recover physical constitution. (Physical and non-physical) (This is a definite attribute that will help you retain your health..... well duh!!)

Mental Resilience (Mrs): Determines the rate at which you recover mental constitution. (Physical and non-physical) ( Good for the players who like to lob tons of spells)

Durability (Dur): Determines the amount of abuse a player can take before losing consciousness. (Physical and non-physical) (By this I would imagine strength to contribute some in this aspect)

Size (Sz): Determines how large of a target you are and the places in which you can fit. (This stat will not be factored into anything but physics equations)

Weight (Wt): Determines how easily it is for you to be pushed around or dragged. (This stat will not be factored into anything but physics equations)

Statuses

Physical Constitution (Pcn): Determines your capacity to do physical activities.

Mental Constitution (Mcn): Determines your capacity to do mental activities.
