"killed
by a drunk driver"
This part is taken
from the 1991 yearbook page that was in memory of Debbie...
DEBBIE
was in the sixth grade. She played piano, loved to stay up late and
read, and adored her baby brother and sister. She was a sensitive
girl, a good student who wanted to become a missionary in Mexico.
This is Debbie as her friends remembered her:
John
Hopkins, "She was always thoughtful."
Faith
Wetmore said of her best friend, "She was shy and tender. We did
a lot of things together and had lots of good times. I miss her a
lot, but know she's better off in heaven."
Anna
deGuzman said, "Debbie was my best friend in school. The thing
I remember most was that we walked the Turkey Path together, we sang songs
and talked. Thanks to Debbie, my years at this school were the best!
Debbie really made this school bright and cheery. Thanks Debbie!"
Mrs.
deGuzman said, "Debbie was a best friend to everyone because she loved
everone equally and never wanted to hurt anyone's feelings. The tender
and compassionate love of Jesus shone through Debbie. I too, thought
of her as a best friend."
