On September 13th, 1990, my husband, Pastor David Caldwell and four of our children, Debbie, Mary, Phoebe, and Jeremiah drove to see a Christian concert. I stayed home with our two year old daughter Kezia and nine day old son Ezekiel. As they were returning home, David's car was hit head-on by a car driven by a drunk driver. My husband, David, and our eight year old daughter, Phoebe, were killed instantly. Early the next morning, eleven year old Debbie died in the operating room. Mary, Jeremiah and two passengers riding with them were listed in critical condition. The next evening, Jeremiah was declared brain dead. Nine year old Mary survived the crash but, still needs some help in school today as a result of injury to her brain. Caldwell
