The King of Destiny

Without doubt the destiny of the universe depends upon the future of this great and noble king.  His is a life that will be fought over by both the good and the evil side of the scope force as his final destiny will decide who shall be victorious.

King Water Vole VIII, is the first Scope King ever to be born outside The Realm of Camel Hygiene.  When the Evil Emperor finally initiated his invasion on The Realm of Camel Hygiene Water Vole's mother, the Queen Scope Sloth, escaped alongside the royal bodyguard Wolverine and his young apprentices.  His father the King stayed behind and was executed by Austin with his Tuba.  Therefore Water Vole was born in the space between galaxies.  His mother gave him the name Leon, although only those of royal blood may call him by that name.

His mother died shortly after childbirth and as a result Wolverine took on the task of raising the infant King as father and mentor.  Wolverine made sure he was not only brought up properly in all the traditions of his homeland but also that over time he would learn the full secrets of the Scope Force and how to use it for the purpose of good.

At an early age it was apparent Water Vole possessed great scope powers, more than Wolverine had seen in any Scope except the Emperor himself.  Unfortunately the King had a weak physique and his special move was crap outside of the bath.  This meant he was of little use in direct mortal combat.  Water Vole tended therefore to avoid battles instead opting to use mind control scope powers and other psychic scope powers to defeat single or grouped opponents from a distance.  Water Vole was also able to influence the outcomes of battles by channeling his scope powers over the battlefield and through the troops below.

Wolverine knew that the reason for the Kings amazing abilities stemmed from the fact that he possessed the Scope Quad-force of Special Needs.  This power was one of the 4 equal parts of the divine Scope Force.  The other parts were:  The Quad-force of the Deranged Mind & Quad-force of Diseases of the Teeth.  Both of these parts had belonged to his parents but now belonged to persons unknown.  The Emperor himself held the Quad-force of Deformities of the Body.  Whatever side the people who held the pure essences of the Scope Force were on would decide who would emerge victorious.  Because of this fact Water Vole became the centre of conflict between the Evil Empire of Austin and the Republic Scope Rebels led by the Scope Knights.

Eventually this was a battle won by the Empire when Water Vole betrayed his Scope Knights and became Vice Emperor of the Universe, 2nd in command behind Emperor Austin.  As a result information given by Water Vole meant The Emperor was able to destroy the Scope Knights base on Earth and force them to relocate.

To this day the Scopes are sure that they can convert Leon and eradicate the Dark Side within him forever.  Unless they find those who posses the 2 last parts of the Quad-force it is their absolute only chance of success in defeating the powers of evil and reclaiming The Realm of Camel Hygiene.

NB - Water Vole was responsible for the recruitment of RL Badger in Pakistan while still a Scope Apprentice.  He became a heavy drinker and relentlessly tries to pull Wildebeest's wife Gertrude the Frog.
