| CHARACTERS |
There are many characters in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Old and new. All of the characters from the original Super Smash Bros. that came out for the Nintendo 64 will be included in the sequel (Most likely . . . two so far, haven't been revealed yet. Although it's almost a sure bet that they'll be included).
The known characters so far are:
RETURNING CHARACTERS
Mario, Link, Samus Aran, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Kirby, Pikachu, Fox McCloud, Captain Falcon, Ness
ALL NEW CHARACTERS
Bowser, Princess Peach, Princess Zelda, Shiek, Ice Climbers
It is unknown yet if Luigi and Jigglypuff will return for the sequel. It's very likely that Luigi will return, but Jigglypuff we're not so sure about. But, since she was in the last one, why not put her in the sequel? Nevertheless, I'm pretty sure that she'll make it in.
There are other characters that are as of yet unknown. Secret characters. Nintendo is being very tight-lipped about them though. And hasn't let any of them slip yet. Some likeable ones are:
Pitt (Everyone's been asking for him for quite a while. And he's been seen in a "gallery" pic. If you don't know who he is, he made his debut in a game called Kid Icarus, around the time of the original Metroid),
Ganondorf, Wario, Toad, Luigi, Jigglypuff, Samurai Goroh (From F-Zero X), and probably some more Pokemon characters. Such as: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Chicorita, Totodile, Cyndiquel, or Pichu.
Maybe Ash Katchum will even be in it! Who knows. From here it's anyones guess as to who Nintendo will decide to include. They put the Ice Climbers in there (Which I don't even know about) so basically anyone's a possibility.
Looks like we'll just have to wait and see.
