LUIGI'S MANSION: GENERAL INFO
Luigi's Mansion for the Nintendo GameCube will be one of the two Nintendo published titles that will launch along with the system in September in Japan.

Luigi's Mansion will also be a launch game in the US, along with five other Nintendo published titles.

It will also most likely be a launch game everywhere else, since it's one of the main titles Nintendo is making for GameCube, and is taking the place of "the Mario game" that usually launches with Nintendo systems.

Luigi's Mansion was first unveiled at the SpaceWorld 2000 show in Japan as a "tech demo", but wasn't unveiled as a full title until E3 2001.

Luigi's Mansion is one of the most visually appealing games for the Nintendo GameCube. With awesome graphics and spot on physics and lighting effects. The vacuem creates supremly realistic physics on nearly every object it sucks at. Be it the transparent ghosts, or even a curtain hanging over the windows.

The lighting effects that come from Luigi's flashlight are also brilliant. Alliminating every object it toaches with a realistic bright white light.

It also has some of the best transperencies ever seen. The ghosts are all transparent, and you can see every object realisticlly through them. There are also different colored ghosts that will affect how the things look through their transparent bodies.

Another very cool aspect of the graphics in Luigi's Mansion are the facial expressions and emotions. Luigi reacts realistically, with fright, anger, uneasiness, and everything else that you would feel if you were in a haunted mansion. He can even get "shocked" if something jumps out at him, and will sometimes shake and quiver in fright, which will affect everything he's holding (Such as the flashlight). His mustache also moves realistically, as does his mouth.

All in all, Luigi's Mansion is an awesome showpiece of the GameCube's power. Proving just how powerful the system really is.

It's sure to be a hit when it's released for the console in the US on November 5th. Make sure you pick up a copy!
