lilli and the twelve baskets
lilli sighs as she gets out of bed.
It is early and she has a lot to do.
"Wow..." she thinks... smiling "...it surely was a night of love."
She is so content and filled and saturated.
She is so grateful unto her Lord and Master for His unending love.
He surely is the greatest.
As she opens the door there is twelve angels waiting upon her.
They smile as they see her and glorify God for His mercy and blessings.
Lilli smiles and yes... even a little laughter lightens her being.
She could not know why she is laughing...
just...
she feel so very happy.
lilli greet each angel with a hug and peeks into their baskets.
All filled with bread..!
"Now what is this?" she asks
"It is the twelve baskets of left-overs..."
one of the angels explains.
"Wow..." lilli is truly amazed.
Then she calls 12 little girls to her side and give them each a basket.
The angels would carry it for them...
then she send them into the nations.
"See that everybody gets enough..."
lilli says calling 12 more little girls.
She send them out with 12 other angels and 12 empty baskets.
"Now go fill these with rose-petals and scatter them all over earth."
lilli says smiling at the 24 little girls.
Then she gives each one the most beautiful white dress
embroidered with the sweetest flowers.
"See that you make a turn and go show Jesus how beautiful you look.."
says lilli and give them all a touch of the sweetest fragrance....
seeing the girl's eyes glitter with joy and gladness.
In her heart lilli knows that Jesus loves them so much
and will receive them with joy.
She also knows that He will add upon them
and give them even more blessings...
preparing them for their joyful task.
Indeed... Jesus did add upon their blessings...
even more than lilli could have thought or dreamt of.
As lilli watch the last little girl go into Jesus' chamber
she sigh with content and strolls off into the winyard...
circling... dancing... singing with joy...
glorifying her Master and Lord...
her Love...
