MICK'S COMMENTS - Injuries killed the Panthers last year, and it will again be their achilles heel. It is time for Craig Gower to stand up from the crowd again and pull out a big one (season that is), while playmakers, Alexander and Carter will have to stay injury free to make sure the Panthers have a successful season. What is successful? I think that landing a place in the top half of the comp will be all the Panthers can hope for this year. They have a lot of youth, but until they mature into quality players the team will struggle. They will be hoping to build on their encouraging form from late in '98.
