MICK'S COMMENTS - The Raiders have lost Stuart and Clyde and now the slide continues. The once formidable side of the late 80's has almost disappeared and has been replaced by some Rams! The inclusion of Maybon, Corvo, Kennedy and co will fill some holes, but there are still plenty of glaring ones yet to fill. If the Raiders are going to a force this season, 3 things must happen. 1. Laurie Daley stays fit 2. McLinden continues to prove his worth after being the spark of '98 3 They get the full support of their home town. It seems that since the Super League war, Canberra has been reluctant to throw their weight behind the team and this has shown in recent times. The Raiders will need a big following to keep their tails up.. |
