~Second Time?~
Who can say the Big Bang
Wasn't God's exhaling,
And when He chooses
To inhale we'll be
Returning for the second time?
Gathering, learning, growing,
We return to the fold...
Remembrance of the First time
Still clings as dew in our hair,
Long after our sun's grown cold.
We fill the lungs of God
With new awareness and agape,
And are immersed within
The essence of One.
Stirring within
A new breath begins...
A pulse that cycles once an eon
Is echoing in our ears
As we prepare for new journeys,
New triumphs, new fears,
And a dance on stardust trails.
Our eyes are aglow with newness,
Our spirits revitalized.
Ancient kinships revisited,
Stories far flung have been told.
The Mardi Gras of the universe
Winds down...
What wonders will this new journey hold?
On the next breath of God
We begin anew.
Souls arching outward,
Some of them two by two.
Another Big Bang,
A new universe breaks ground...
Antiquity rolled into reflection;
Thus begins the Second time around.
