GENERAL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:  Brilliant - genius level IQ.  Friendly, eager... but also is prone to long debilitating bouts of homesickness and feelings of inadequacy.  She has a highly developed sense of right and wrong, and when she is either outraged by what is going on or feels comfortable with those around her, she will let people know where they are going wrong.  She can find solutions to problems that seem unsolvable.  She is also ambitious, in her way, but has to get past her insecurities before she can act on this.

HOBBIES/RECREATION:
·  Will eventually go to the Red Dwarf nights Grieg will arrange.
·  Socializing with the Regulars.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:  Short, somewhat cherubic in appearance.  On the plump side.  Has a cheeky, infectious smile.  Short brown hair, mauve tinted skin, brown eyes.  (Faint English accent) (4'10")

WHY CHARACTER JOINED STARFLEET: The opportunity to go to a Starfleet Bridging course came up in her village, and she leapt at the chance to use her talents, as she always wanted a little more than her current life was bringing.

PERSONAL HISTORY:  Lived in the Correlli Islands on Centauri Prime - the last place on Centauri untouched by technology, owing to the natives' request to be able to maintain their traditional lifestyles.  Joenn grew up in a fishing village there, and when a special recruiting drive came through her area - a program set up to help those in the islands join Starfleet if they wanted - she went and applied.  She did bridging course that taught her all the rudimentary science and math she needed,  she applied for the Academy, and was accepted.  Four years later, on graduation, she was assigned to the Fairburn.

PERSONAL DETAILS:
·  Gets extremely homesick, and so is scheduled for a weekly visit to the Counsellor to help her through it.
·  She has a second, non specific "skin" name (family/generational) name that determines her genetic place within the Correlli society that no one outside it would know, and isn't in her permanent record.
·  She will eventually be primed to move into either Operations or Command, given her talents.  She may not be happy about this if it's done too obviously.
·  Had a group of friends at the Academy that she will still write to and arrange to meet on shoreleaves, if they can manage it - Adin and Bree (Bajorans - twin brother and sister) and Thivov (Andorian).

FAMILY DETAILS:
·   Father - Marinen, alive
·   Mother - Dareyl. alive

FAMILY HISTORY:

SECRETS IN BACKGROUND?:

FUTURE MILESTONES?: Will marry her Promised One - the man who fits into the generation of the family group her own family and generation would traditionally marry into.

DETAIL RELATIONSHIPS WITH:

Susan Randall:  Her Captain, whom she would defend with her life.  Utmost respect and admiration.

James Grieg:  A great Commander, who should make a great Captain someday.  Socially she finds it hard to talk to him, for apart from the freezing factor of his rank, he's so damned tall!

K’Teira:  She is kind and understanding, but not as cloying or sickly as most other Counsellors have been in her experience.

Eden Pendehar:  A nice man, and a great doctor.

Rell:  His stories are gorgeous, and around him she can even begin to forget the disparity in their ranks.

Elek:  She is intimidated by Elek, and dislikes her pressuring her into doing something she feels she's not ready for nor wants to do.  She might crack at Elek one day.

Thomas Moore:  Someone she wouldn't have much dealing with, but he would be an intimidating factor for her.

Kylen Dubois:  A good teacher and tells some interesting stories about her father.  Strangely some of  them seem familiar...

Ian Randall:  The leader of sciences and the Captain's husband... a frightening combination.  She'd be desperate to impress him, but wouldn't see how much she already has.  Later she would chafe against his suggestions to work on the bridge and things, perhaps even feeling that somehow she has displeased him and he's trying to get rid of her.

Matthew Daniels:  He would get so far up her nose it would be hard for her to dislodge him.  Instant mutual dislike.  To her, he's a bit of a moron who couldn't have got his position without lying about something, for although he's a great marksman and seems to keep the Fairburn fairly well protected, he's still an immature idiot.

Berry Moggadí:  A soulmate; someone who has the capacity to understand the weight of extreme intelligence and no outlet for it.  However the naive Joenn wouldn't understand Berry's relationship with Luna, except the love part.  As Joenn has always known she was to be married to someone because of her genetic makeup, she doesn't quite comprehend the concept of mating by choice.

Jedera:  A great teacher, leader, and friend.  They will get closer as time progresses.

Jondalar Barlok:  Another great friend, and they will often chat merrily and plan great things together.

Lisa Willbanks:  She likes her, as their morals seem to align most of the time.  However she is put off slightly by Lisa's aggression.

Viana Jancris:

Chianeé Deserine:  A distant friend to chat with.
