~Harvest Heaven~
We've been growing
Fruits of knowledge
Within our souls
For as long as stars
Have glimmered in our skies...
Reflected in our eyes.
Between each
Endless, spanning row
Lies the reprieve
Of harvest heaven,
When we reap from all we know.
Every tear,
Every year;
All the loves and laughter,
Sadness and grief.
All return in our harvest net
From dragging samsara's reef.
It is then
We realize the extent
Of our blade of grass
In a universe of fields...
Of how many harvests
And how many yields.
All the tears in our seas,
All the joy in our suns;
How far to the mouth
Of eternity's river...
Feeling the primordial current
It runs.
Perspective in perpetuity,
Harvest heaven helps us
Know how many, how far,
And why the journey's been important
Since "once upon a star."
