~Wing Thought~
In the time of young king Arthur,
Merlin changed the boy king to a bird
As part of his tutoring.
"What can you see?" asked Merlin.
"I can see everything," responded Arthur,
As he flew over the forest.
"Can you see any borders?" queried Merlin.
"No....I don't see any borders at all," answered the boy.
"Precisely," responded Merlin...
"We can't see clearly until we are given wings."
On any given day
In our world of complexity,
We fret over tiny matters and reports.
Who wants it done and when;
Alpha or numeric sorts?
Then we go home
And our minds start to roam,
Putting the day in a background hum.
Balancing job and family can be
A challenging task,
But we can't see clearly 'till we feel love's wings.
Painters and poets,
Presidents and peons...
Everyone can have the astounding view.
Imagination is the key
To attitude and
Reducing sufferings.
Elevation --- stimulation;
We can't see clearly
'Till we put on these wings.
The only borders that
Truly exist are those we
Paint in our minds.
From the ocean's point of view,
Continents are borders that
Break up it's expression...
There's always an extension beyond.
To see it from a broader plane,
You must look outside your window pane,
And paint with a much wider brush.
All the see'ers and saints,
And those that wrote parables
From inside prison restraints
Had one thing in common
With their hallowed offerings...
They saw more clearly when
Soaring from lift
Created from our Father's wings.
