A Darkened Sky
The sun doesn't shine
For me anymore
Light that was mine
Fell to the floor
Seems it came
Then chose not to stay
Sending me rain
To blacken my days
Sitting here
No-one around
Wondering where
Love can be found
I'm feeling cold
And empty inside
Never told
Why I was brushed aside
This solitude
Has left me hollow
Can anyone out there hear me?
Coming unglued
So full of sorrow
As the darkness greets me silently
Within me
All hope decays
I only see
White turning grey
All I hear
Are the sounds of my thoughts
As I stare
At the light becoming naught
Memories of light, have faded away
In this eternal night, I'm destined to stay
Awaiting the one, who will dare to try
To replace the sun, in my darkened sky
