Love knocked once
Upon my heart
I could not answer
She was taken
Another rules her heart
I don't exist
And love has not knocked
For me again
Others may offer it
In vain
For my heart is empty
Locked away
Waiting for another
Knock at the door
Waiting for her
To realize I exist
In her eyes
I am just a friend
In her mind
There is no potential
