~Gravity's Embrace~
It is said
Our five senses
Are gravity to our souls,
And Gaia uses gravity
As a blanket
Between Her poles.
Holding down
The air and the sky,
It is the answer
To many reasons why.
From black holes
To barren moons,
Such diversity in force...
From a ton in a teaspoon
To the lightness
Of Celtic runes.
Galaxies and planets
Twirl in a precarious dance
While held in its embrace...
Mass and force entwined
In a cosmic waltz
Of a most delicate grace.
Even time takes a bow
Near a collapsar well.
It's so powerful then
Not even light has
Wings to tell.
But the most
Powerful gravity is
That which love imparts...
For only It can hold
The deepest emotions
Within our hearts.
