The call came at 6 am waking Jordan from a deep sleep. His flight out of Washington wasn't until 9 am and he had to wake up anyway.
"Hullo?" He said sleepily assuming it was Miguel.
"Mr. Knight?" The voice did not sound familiar and it woke him up. "Yes this is he?"
"I'm sorry for calling you like this, your mother gave me this number. I thought you would want to know that we have Linda Smith in custody downtown Boston." Jordan was wide awake now.
"You what? When did this happen? What happens now?" He was full of questions.
"Well we picked her up a week ago, a drug bust down in the heart of Dorchester, but she had no id on her. She wasn't giving us information either. We just found out who she was and since we had the warrant we booked her for her sons, er, your sons death."
"When can I see her and how exactly do I get there?"

"I don't know why you keep insisting on dragging yourself in here Rodelyn. You're probably scaring the kids anyway." Terry said as Rodelyn waddled past her en route to her office.
"You're lucky I can't kick you right now." She looked down at her swollen leg. "Cause I could really hurt you with this."
Terry laughed, she was starting to get very irritable. "Here's your schedule, and I have a pot of water boiling at all times, just in case."
"Gawd I wish!" Rodelyn walked past the other offices glancing at her schedule. Full once again. Her cramps hadn't stopped, even after a warm bath. She almost contemplated on not coming into work today, but they seemed lighter in the morning so she made it in.
"Back for another go round huh?" Jackie uttered from her office and Rodelyn just mumbled as she walked by. She walked into her office, now a bigger one with a view of the street. Her name plaque was on her door and she straightened it walking in, she marveled at her office. It was big and bright and she'd decorated it herself. She had a picture of the whole Knight family minus Jordan from 4th of July and a picture of her, Jordan and Evan from their New York trip. She sat and looked at it, 'her two boys,' she'd called them. She traced both their profiles sighing. She missed both of them so much. "Ouch!" She doubled over holding her stomach. Damn cramps. But this one was stronger. What she wouldn't give for a Mydol right about now. She got up to walk it off, going to the kitchen area. There was instant tea and she decided to make a packet, maybe it would make her feel better.
"Sustenance already?" Terry laughed as Rodelyn stood there drinking her tea. She was about to respond when another pain shot through her.
"Damn." She almost yelled.
"Are you all right?" Terry walked over to her and sat her down at the table.
"Yeah, these dang cramps are just getting to be too much."
"Cramps? Are you sure?"
"Yeah. I'm not due for three weeks." She sipped her tea. "See, all better." She smiled.
"Yeah, sure." Terry eyed her and walked away hesitantly.
Rod sat and drank her tea. She had time until she had to start doing actual work. An hour later she sat in her office, the tea seeming to do the trick. She hummed along to the Backstreet Boys song on the radio and wrote out her report.
"My love is all I have to give, without you I don't think I could live. I wish I could."
"Ow, ow ow!" She yelled out doubling over. This was NOT a cramp. Suddenly Jackie, Terry and another associate were in her office.
"I told you it wasn't cramps." Terry said pointedly. "I have 3 kids you know." Jackie got on Rodelyn's side and pulled her up laying her on the couch. Terry went over to Rodelyns chair. "Um, Rod?"
"Yeah." Rod said trying to get her breath back.
"Did you know your water broke?"
"What? Ishe looked down at her black pants and all of a sudden felt the wetness. "Oh man, not now, not before Jordan gets here." She started panicking.
"Calm down Rod, you have plenty of time, you don't want to overexert yourself. But I just have to tell you." Before Terry could finish Rodelyn was screaming in agony again.
"The pains are going to get much worse now." Terry finished her sentence helping to prop Rodelyn up on the sofa.
Jackie quickly got Rodelyn's jacket and put it around her. "We're getting you to a hospital, NOW!"
"Wait, I can't, Jordan, I need him." Rodelyn cried. Terry went to her Rods rolodex and quickly pulled out his card.
"I'll call him on the way, okay!"
