The story (1-2)

Once upon a time, there was a knight called YUSHA which means "great brave(or hero if you prefer)". He had beaten the king of darkness in a legendary duel...

At the end of the battle, the monsters who were under control of the king of darkness, were freed from the spell and began to live a normal life on the isle of Demurin, situated in the southern part of the world.

FLY is the only human on the island. He arrived there after a shipwreck and has been grown up by Burasu, a monster sage. Fly dreams to become a brave but he can't use magic.
One day, something strange happens on Demurin. All the monsters turn bad again and begin to kill. The king of darkness must have been resurrected and the spell he once casted on the monsters is working again now. But fortunately ABAN, brave tutor, and his disciple POPPU (a magician, still an apprentice), arrive on Demurin and Aban installs a dome that protects from evil with his famous incantation MAHOKATORU. Impressed by Fly's hability handling a sword, Aban begins a special training for him.
But on the third day, when Fly has just achieved the sword techniques CLEAVE THE EARTH and CLEAVE THE SEA, the king of darkness, HADORA appears!!!

A battle between Aban and Hadora engages and it seems that the brave who saved the world fifteen years ago is no one else but Aban. But Hadora is stronger than ever before. Moreover he is supported by the GOD OF DARKNESS, BAN. Aban tries to contain Hadora's attacks but in vain. As he doesn't want his disciples to be involved in this he casts a spell on them (ASUTORON) which transforms their bodies in a piece of metal. In this way they are protected from any possible spell or attack, but are not able to move anymore. He offers Fly and Poppu a talisman, symbolizing the end of the training. After that, he attempts a new attack on Hadora. He grips him and invokes MEGANTE, a spell wich provokes a huge explosion by destroying the user's body.
Alas Aban's sacrifice was in vain because Hadora survives. He plans to eleminate our friends when suddenly Fly manages to escape from the spell casted by Aban and counters Hadora. Hadora is at first surprised by the strength of the eleven-year old boy. But then he notices a mark on his forehead!!! It ressembles to a dragon's head!!! Hadora knows this mark and fears it more than everything. This mark only appears on the forehead of a DRAGON KNIGHT. But Hadora underestimates Fly because he's still a kid. Fly manages to beat Hadora by using Aban's secret technique ABAN SLASH. Hadora can escape though, but he swears to battle Fly again and beat him.

That's how Fly and Poppu decide to pursue Aban's mission. They leave Demurin and sail to the continent of Rainriba where the kingdom of Romusu lies. Fly is a good friend of the king and he wants to ask him help to go to Papunika on the continent of Horukia. The princess of Papunika is also an intimate connection of Fly (he met her at the very beginning of the story, it was also the first time that the strange mark did appear on his forehead).
