| Chapter Three: The Journey Begins |
We didn't sleep very well, we were still edgy. When I finally did fall asleep, my dreams were haunted with demons, and imps and dragons. All of them were trying to hurt me. I tried to defeat them, but failed. Then they all turned into Chocolate shakes and I drank them. I woke up in a cold sweat. Joey approached me as I woke up.
"Dude, Maldrayo didn't tell us the whole truth..." Said Joey.
"Whaddya Mean?" I asked
"Look." He held up what looked like a map. I took it and looked at it. It said: "Darnithias, World Map."
"World Map...? But...The continents are all odd..and the names..?" I asked.
"Yep. The real world is nothing like Earth. Its as if he took us to a brand new planet." Joey answered.
"Very observant boys. You are right, Earth and Darnithias are like two different planets. Both are real, but both are one in the same." Said the familiar voice of Maldrayo.
"But I don't understand, if they're one in the same, how come they are so different?" I asked.
"Well boys, I will tell you the story." He said. We both sat down.
"Hey wait, wheres Rob?" Asked Joey.
Suddenly, a bare-assed Rob burst into the room, he had nothing on except his ninja mask. He looked at all of us, Katana in hand. He scanned the room...He also held a pair of pants. He held them up, sniffed them, and then yelled at the top of his lungs...
"THESE ARE NOT MY PANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"...Err..? Ok? Whose are they?" I asked.
Rob approached Joey, stood him up, and then ripped the pants off of him. Joey stood there in his bright pink boxers and looked at Rob. Rob sniffed the pants and then smiled. He put the pants on, and then threw the other pair at Joey.
"THESE are my pants." Said a very happy Rob.
"Er...Sorry..." Said Joey, putting on the pants.
"Now it is time to look at the monkey!" Rob ran to the other side of the room and stared at a plastic monkey.
Joey leaned in by me and said...
"Like I said before, Rob is FRIGGIN' WEIRD."
"Yes he is..." I responded.
"Rob, C'mon Maldrayo has a story to tell us." I called to him.
"Okay." He came over by us.
"Is everyone ready now?" He asked us.
"Yes." We all said simultaneously.
"Ok. Along, Long Time ago, When the earth was first veiled, Malzakk gave the people a choice. Half of the population chose to live on Darnithias, the other half decided to live on the new, Earth.
The Populations molded the worlds to be how the wanted. Darnithias was formed in their image, and the same with Earth. How was this done? Malzakk allowed them to. He gave them the power to form their own societys. And So they Did. Normally, on Earth, You would be on North America. The Main continent of Earth. But, because you are on Darnithias, you are on Juruda. Here, I will give you something. It is called the Warp Stone. It will warp you back to the exact location you were last on Earth. And when you use it on Earth, you will return to the exact location you left off on Darnithias." He said, as a small stone appeared in my hand.
"Thanks." I said.
"Thats all I can say for now, begin your journey now! Do not leave Juruda without consulting me first. Ok?" The voice echoed.
"Yes. We understand." I said.
"Good. Bye for now boys." Said Maldrayo.
He was gone. We got ourselves prepared and thanked the Inn Keeper for allowing us to stay for such a cheap price. She smiled at nodded. We left the INN. Surprisingly, according to the map, we weren't in a town just yet. So we started our journey. The terrain was pretty grassy. I figured we'd find alot of Bugs and Plants around this area. I was right. They werent very strong, but Both Robbie and Joey managed to level up! As night fell we still hadn't reached the town. Man some heroes we were. It was dark. I hated the dark...
"So...guys...wanna build a fire?" I asked Sheepishly.
"Nah thats ok (Cough)pansy(cough)." Snickered Joey.
"WHAT WAS THAT?!" I said holding up my sword.
"Heheh Nothing, (cough)wussy(cough)Orange Ninja." Said Rob, smirking.
"I'LL KILL YOU BOTH!!!!!" I shouted.
"Whats a matta..? Little Damy afwaid of the dawk?" Said Joey, Pinching my cheeks.
"GRRR!!!" I slashed Joeys head off. He revived a few minutes later.
"Go ahead a build a fire if you're scared, but build it away from us, we like sleeping in the dark." Said Rob.
"IM NOT AFRAID!!!!! I JUST WANT TO BUILD A FIRE TO KEEP MONSTERS AWAY!!!" I said, Lying.
"Then do that and let us sleep!" yelled Joey.
"WHATEVER!!!!" I yelled.
Suddenly a rock flew from Rob's direction and hit me in he head. I fell over and rubbed my head. They were already sleep. I sighed and built a small fire near myself. I didn't sleep that night. I just stared at the light the fire gave off and tried to clear my mind, but I couldn't. They had slept well and were all energetic. I was totally exhausted and sluggish. I'm so happy we didn't run into any monsters that day, but we probably would have gotten closer to the town if they didn't have to slow down for me all the time. And then I feel asleep as the sun was setting, so they were forced to make camp. They were pretty pissed at me the next morning, but fuck them..We had a long discussion that day. We summed up what our current knowledge of our situation was, We agreed that we had to find a town and fast. We were also quite confused about why we weren't being attacked by monsters but we really didn't care. We spent that day exploring, And once again I didn't sleep. Boy oh boy what would the next day bring!?
