| Chapter Twenty: The Wind Scepter |
The first platform disappeared. At that time I was quite happy I had gotten on the second. It went straight up, no other motions. It stopped right next to a third platform. I was about to get on the third platform when it began to flash blue. I had remembered the first one doing this before it disappeared, so I stayed put. I was lucky that I had observed this, the third platform also disappeared. The second platform continued to move upward. A Large peice of metal floated towards me. I would have ignored it if it wasn't for the blue lights under my feet.
I jumped onto the piece of metal and continued moving up. The tornado was getting larger now, wider. I was getting worried. What would I find at the top? The piece of metal I was standing on was getting very wobbly. I could barely stand on it. Within several minutes I fell off. I yelled out as I fell from the platform. Lucky for me, the tornado caught me. I started flying in circles around the tornado. I continued in an upward motion. I was so dizzy, I felt like I would vomit. I couldn't take it anymore, I was going to throw up...
Suddenly, another platform came up and got in my way. I slammed into it hard, but I managed to grab unto it. It flew upwards, further up the Tornado. I could see the top now. The platform took me all the way to the top. I hovered over the tornado on the platform and looked down into it. It was huge. The platform rotated around the Tornado in a circular motion. I looked up and noticed that there was no other part of the world. It was nothing but blackness.
I continued to look around to see if I could find anything, but it was looking grim. Where was the wind Scepter? More importantly, where was its keeper. With a world like this, I was afraid to know what I would have to fight to get the Scepter. I hardly noticed this whole time that the platform was taking me upwards. Up, up into the unknown. I was taken up into the clouds. I looked around, a Cloud was just under neither me. This was an odd cloud, it covered all of the sky. The platform started to glow blue, I was worried, there was nothing for me to grab on to!
I fell from the platform and onto the cloud. Surprisingly, it was strong enough to support my weight. It was like a video game or something. I felt the clouds, felt like cotton. What a surprise. I guess that this was the real world of wind. The gusts were amazingly powerful in this area. It was cold also. I started to walk. I didn't see any signs of life or anything, but I continued on. Nothing happened.
Finally I reached a new area. Where the clouds were blue, and led upward like stairs. I began to walk up. There wasn't much on the new level of clouds, but I kept going. Another stairway of clouds. Red this time. As I climbed the steps the scenery changed, it looked like a throne of clouds. The Scepter sat up there, waiting for me. I approached it, but suddenly a huge three headed dragon creature landed infront of me. It roared loudly. I stared at it. It spoke to me, all three heads spoke to me all at once, in an echoed voice.
"Who are you...?" It asked calmly.
"I am Damian...here to claim the Wind Scepter." I said.
"That is laughable." It said, still calm.
"What are you...?" I asked.
"Tiamat, the Chromatic Dragon." Said Tiamat.
"Am I going to have to defeat you to get the Wind Scepter?" I asked.
"The mere notion of you defeating me is pure absurdity, pitiful human." Said the dragon.
"I may be a human, but I'm not afraid of you, Just like I wasn't afraid of Titan, Tiburon or Fuego!" I shouted.
"They are ants compared to me. With a Flap of my wings they would be destroyed." He said arrogantly.
"Well I'm different! I'm stronger then all three!" I yelled.
"Well then, let us see how strong you are." He said.
His skin changed colors from red to gold. His middle head began to spew flames around the entire area. I tried to dodge but I was caught in the fire. My skin was seered. Was this create fire elemntal? His skin changed back to gold. His left head screeched and huge lightning bolts fell from the sky. I dashed out of the way just in the nick of time. I was starting to understand his color indicated his element. Thats what he ment by Chromatic. His skin changed blue, but before his right head could attack I cast Fira on him. He screamed loudly as his skin turned normal. I ran to him and started slashing at him with Dual Blade. It was very effective. He smashed me with his claw and knocked me back. He was amazingly powerful, I could barely stand after such an incredible blow.
I got back up weakly. He turned Green. He started to spit poison at me with all three heads. I dodged around the poisons sprays from his three mouthes but it was hard. When he started tiring I ran and hit him with another Dual Blade. He changed colors to brown and started using Earth Attacks. I jumped up and cast Tsunami on him. His heads bellowed in each a different tone. He changed his color to black. I took this oppurtunity to Enhance. My clothing changed to the green, skin tight costume. I had become Nuclear Nova.
He began shooting huge beams of Darkness at me. I dodged and did my new, Dual Ball ability. After charging up two nice size balls of energy were shot in his direction. They hit his Left and Right heads. He took so much damage from this attack that both heads were destroyed. He looked around with the middle head, nervously. He didn't know what to do, and he could no longer change his element. But he could use his Ultimate Attack. He began to charge it.
"T" He said.
"TE" He continued.
"TET"
"TETR"
"TETRA"
"...What the hell...?"
"TETRA F"
"TETRA FL"
"TETRA FLA"
"TETRA FLAR"
He smirked. "Time to die." He said.
"TETRA FLARE!!!!!"
Huge amounts of energy formed around me. The air around me turned hot and fire balls crashed into me. I cried out, hating the horrible flames. The energy blast attacked me again, blue this time. My body froze solid. The ice around me then shattered, cutting up my skin. I fell too my knees. A third blast, yellow. Lightning Bolts sprayed down onto to me. I could barely move, the pain was intense. Finally, a Huge Tornado formed around me and attepted to suck me in. But of course, having lost my Enhanced form from the huge amounts of damage I took, I now absorbed the Wind element. I stood back up. Healed by the wind part of the attack. He couldn't believe it. I ran at him and did one final Dual Blade to his final head. He screamed out and then he simply...disintergrated.
I leveled up, of course. I learned the Blizzara attack. I shrugged and approachd the Wind Scepter. I got really lucky in that fight. If it wasnt for that wind attack I would have been destroyed. As usual, as I picked up the Scepter, a portal appeared. I jumped into the portal. I was taken back to portal space...the long, boring roller coaster ride. I re-entered the Orb Room. The four Orbs floated up and shattered. The room began to fall a part. I ran to the alcove and played the flute for Leviathan. Within seconds he materialized and I hopped on his back. We zipped out of the cave right as it began to collapse. I was so happy to finally have been done with that. I missed my friends so much...especially Kiki...
